Oh that is a fact! It is so crazy here, within 15 minutes of the sun being all the way up the temp warms up by 10 or 20 and within an hour to hour and a half it is warmed up as much as its going to for the day. I love it because I really only have to fight the temps for half the time, the other half when the sun is out no problemo!
that's when you'll learn how to vent your building, lol

Can you do something with hinges? Rather than lifting them on and off and carrying them and all that annoying stuff... Or do they have to come out of the greenhouse completely each day?

yeah they have to come at least down completely off the clear walls, but that does give me kind of an idea. Maybe I could do it horizontally and make it swing like a gate that actually might work hmmmmmmmmmmm now i have something ELSE to think about thanks @Eyeoftheworld ; ) I kid I kid that is actually a great idea, you are so smart :)

Yeah it has been freaking people out here because everyone is still wearing short sleeves and flip flops in almost the middle of November! I am just praying the trend continues. I lived here 2 years ago and it was one of the mildest winters on record with the lowest temp being like -17 I think so I am praying every day that is the case again
me too

Yep the giant exhaust fan I have does well but when it gets above 70 or so it gets a little hot, so in the spring i am going to do a little re-engineering to be able to handle the hotter temps

Like an accordion across the wall ... Just open and close it. Easy...

Have you seen foam panels for constructing houses. Inches of foam sandwiched between OSB panels 4' x 8'. If you glued foam to 4x8 panels it would protect the foam and provide hinge points

maybe even those turban roof vents, hot air will be able to dissipate some even when fan off, passive, no electricity

man, you can get large attic vent fans powered by their own little solar panel, sun out, you venting

I would hinge them on the bottom, opening downward to rest on the ground, if you have high winds
