I would hinge them on the bottom, opening downward to rest on the ground, if you have high winds

It will be on the inside, I am NOT going outside in the -anything weather to move my panels lol. So if I did it like that it would cover my plants. And i just thought why the gate style wont work. Because I will have plants in the greenhouse and that will prevent them from opening and closing : /

right, so you just put em up and down, and being indoor don't need to worry too much about protecting the foam, keep it light

That's why I keep coming back to my original idea of putting them up each night with the magnets. But if all goes well with the lights, heater and tarp I may not have to do that just yet
 
In the greenhouse if my night temps are above freezing and daytime is rebounding rapidly I'm not worrying
