Yeah, that looks pretty awful. I'm with witchy, at least people understand and can move to somewhere safer, it's the animals that get it harder. Hopefully you'll have plenty of sunshine now to dry it all out!

The barrancos in Puerto direct the rainfall a treat. There's one over the other side of town which people use as a car park most of the time. I always wonder if when we get heavy rainfall they all moved the cars in time, or if any ended up near the sea! And at least the wild chickens can fly, there are higher bits than the floor in the barrancos so they can get out of the way of the water. I've even seen chicks hop from rock to rock to get higher up. It tends to flood higher up, where it pools a bit before cascading down this way!

@Mossy you and the Mr. are safe and thats whats important, more good Karma sent for the farm and family, hope the holidays brings you a bit of peace and some R&R ( that could mean reload and rotate the bong if you need it to) !!

That is the flood water from the breach coming through the trees..it looks tame on a photo..but I wish I had the noise to let you hear the volume of what was coming down..

Hubby and his damn to stop it flooding into the yard.

Hopefully @Mossy and hubby are HIGH and dry. Well I'm still feeling like I got one foot in the grave and one on a banana peel, but I made it to the tents last night. The Kind tent wasn't too bad

The cold temps and lack of water took a little toll on them but I'll think they're about done

Yeah..the farmer lost his bitch...he Thinks the only thing that could have happened is she has fallen in the canal....they were inseperable..so she wouldn't have just run off.

So..as I say ..Lucky..:d5:

Afternoon @budelee :bighug: are you xmas proof yet...?

Hey Mossy glad to see you and your hubbie are safe and sound ...:bighug:
This happened to us in 54 who would have believed this .
The effects of Hurricane Hazel in Canada included 81 deaths and C$137,552,400 ($1,126,947,163 in 2009) in damages. Hazel, the deadliest and costliest storm of the 1954 Atlantic hurricane season, reached Toronto, Ontario by the evening of October 15, 1954.

Not done yet with the x-mas stuff yet @Mossy ,ive got a few last minute things to do.overall its like any other for me tho,get what i can when i can,i would have taken some quality time around the celebration days if it wasn't for the week of used sick time doing nothing but recovery.. Health Karma sent ti everybody, this is not rhe time to be ill!!

On a slightly different note,in the USA the DEA has tried to reschedule CBD oils as class 1, this is not entirely accurate as the Hemp industry is not affected in any way by the change, this info and many informative links was sent to me from my POC with the CBD company that will be an AW guest in January...It is business as usual for all the US hemp based CBD oil companies,so there should be no shortage of much needed meds for anyone
