Mephisto Genetics Anyone try germinating Walter White from the recent drop?

Just curious if anyone else has tried germinating their WW beans from the drop a couple weeks or so ago? I promise I'm not trying to be a Karen. I'm just scratching my head over here. First time I've run into the issue and I love my Mephisto and am trying to include at least one Meph strain in every run.

First attempt to germinate I dunked a WW and a Brother Mendel overnight (at the same time) and put them in their final pots. This is the way I always do it and have had 100% success for as long as I can recall.

Mendel broke ground after 3 days and is going strong. But no sign of WW whatsoever. After about a week I took a peek at the seed and it had grown a small tail. But it stalled out at that point. Never progressed.

I figured it was just one of those things and I tried popping another WW. Seems like the same thing is happening. It sprouts a small tail and just stops. Never progresses past that.

I'm fully willing to accept that it's just me. Just curious to see if anyone else had the issue? Or if they just take a little longer to break soil.

I germinated one last week and it split and was above ground in less than 2 days. Good luck on your next seed.

Good to hear, and thank you for the response. I'm guessing that it's just me being over anxious since we recently moved and I had a downtime of about 3-4 months between grows. I'm sure I screwed something up. Thanks again.

My buddy also got some from the same drop and his sprouted in 3 days. His response came just before the poster here. So it’s likely me drowning them. When I say that I lost a little mojo over the past few months since we moved, I’m not kidding.

All good on the thread staying open. Just didn’t want it to be viewed as a bash thread.

PS - good time to remind myself that no matter how knowledgeable I think I am in this hobby, I can still fuck up. Like it says under my username over there- Always Learning.

Not sure that I wanted to learn this lesson today. But…always learning!
