Indoor Any one use Aptus nutrients? Worth $635/L !?!

Hey man,

Chelation, put simply, occurs when various organic compounds bind to inorganic elements to prevent precipitation and improve mobility within plant pathways. As for pH buffering, any number of compounds can be used to buffer for acids or bases to within certain pH ranges (and that only to a given degree) and they will vary depending on the chemical makeup of each nutrient concentrate. Of course, much of this is proprietary information and manufacturers keep details to themselves (as do I), but your observation is correct -- these guys have not reinvented the wheel; and charging that amount is, as the locals here would say, "taking the fucking piss, maate!"

Does house and garden have a buffering solution called osmosis or something,it says its a pH stabilizer?

And why are amino acids so expensive and what do they even do if chemical nutrients kill the herd

Dear fellow auto flower peeps,

the proof will ultimately be in the pudding. I am based in Europe & I am going to guinea pig Aptus for what my local growshop claims it can (they recon its the Rolls R..). Hence been been bought in the belief as the top dog Dutch nutrient solution right now...

Anyhow - I shall keep u posted on my developments: thus far i have 4 autos planted (DP 2x xtreme/ 2x Euforia) sitting in my tent with a Canna Pro soil mix, worm hummus, perlite, seramis, canna pebbles, canna mycorhizza, general herb soil mixture in 56L Plant it Pots. As a root simulator I got myself the last batches of the original Dutch House.Garden Root Excelurator. The babies are have just been placed into soil. Early days. As for lights I am running the Gavita 270 & the DP LED. As far as Aptus goes I am starting of with the regulator, Enzymes & the all new All in 1.

Lets see what it will bring.

TP

You know in my many decades on the business and retail side of this industry I've heard claims like that before -- and it's always marketing hype. True the proof is in the growing/pudding...but with all the stuff you've got running in your aggregate you won't have a clue what percentage of whatever result you may achieve was due to these alleged super nutes, not without a control group for comparison.

When we ran trials -- and we always ran trials! -- we tested the latest fad brand of the hour in straight perlite, yup, just perlite! We always ran control groups with a proven generic brand, and 9/10 times the outcome was just pure hype. In three cases, from around 19 different brands tested, there was a notable difference, but when factoring in the complexity and all the additives and various parts to these systems and the total cost of the 'kits' the boost was hardly worth it. Still, good luck with the grow.

Ive been using the aptus line for about 6 months. My plants are much healthier. Grow faster more compact larger flowers. Just follow the instructions properly. Id recommend organic base nutrients. Fasilitor is very good at its job and helps to create short stocky plants. Just don't over do your base nutrients. Seedlings i just use fasilitor and start boost with waterings . Here is an example of a seedling started with the Aptus line and the same plant 9 days earlier.

Thanks brother. What people dont seem to get is that you use a very small amount of Aptus once per week . Fasilitor is their most expensive additive (also their best) a 250ml bottle is 140$ or less. But you add 3ml per 5 gallons of water... its very pure, very concentrated. Id recommend trying their "believer pack" for like 25$. Its 100ml of fasilitor and 100ml of startboost. Use it on your small plants in veg and do a control experiment. I gave my friend a seedling of the same genetics in the picture in my previous post.

To clarify his is the most recent post. The one in my tent was my original post. I can definitely post some pictures as it progresses for you guys.
