Hey Samurai, yucca powder / extract has a few benefits supposedly, I haven't used it yet but it's a surfactant which means it makes water penetrate soil or leaves better and thus nutrients too. Also supposed to be good for the root system and aid in disease resistance. It's the main ingredient in some of those "water wetter" products like Wet Betty and SM-90, just figured I'd try saving money and get the base ingredient and learn to use it.

thanks for the reply Anthro.I'm breaking my organic cherry and trying to learn as much as I can.

Wowie, the Black Creams grew up wonderfully while I was away! I think they're about over the final stretch. Flowering very nicely and finally greened up more and less yellow.

Aside from the radical growth spurt, I noticed some initial colors forming in one of the Black Creams :) Woohoo! This is how my other Sweets started their color too.

Overall mega growth spurt yikes! The slightly taller rear plant is the early color girl, but I do expect the other to colorize too.

If they stretch much more, they might be on track for my tallest autos lol. Although, part of the long internodal stretch recently was because I had to borrow the ratchet hangers out of there while away, meaning the lights were all the way up for that time. The internodal distances are kinda unjustified otherwise. Then again, my other Sweets were a little lanky but that turns out fine in the end. :)

Finally germing the first outdoor bean set for this year, 16x Diesel Ryder (auto regs), unknown genetic origins, gifted, so whatever they do is great with me :)

Oops, ran out of Root Riot cubes lol, used 4 jiffy peats, stuffed tight in there lol.

The beautiful Sweet Seeds Black Cream twins are really looking quite pretty and well into flower now. Pics:)

BC2 Cola, #2 is the better looking, taller, and showing increasing colors now woohoo! She might be an candidate for the competition next month! :)

Got the Accurate 8 finally, haven't checked the pH of any plants or my soil stock since going organic I guess about a year ago lol! As you can see, the use of rainwater and organic methods produces a more natural equilibrium between the soil, microbes, roots, and plants.

PH keeps itself fairly well in check according to what people say about organics. Yet I doubted this lol, hence the upgrade from testing with the cheapo generic yellow pen to the Accurate 8.

The Black Cream twins were just under pH 7, while the Skywalker Kush was close to the perfect pH 6.3.

Speaking of the Skywalker, she's doing nicely over in the other thread: :)

Hi friends, here's a couple quick pic updates from during the website upgrade. :) Needless to say the Black Creams are looking very nice as always from Sweet Seeds.

I'm just going to copy/paste the updates here, and then we'll be on track going forward.

May 1 Update:
In auto world, the Black Cream twins really are puffing up densely with gorgeous flowers.

The #1 is definitely a green pheno and damn strong looking one too lol!

The "black" of the twins gains more color, and now has done some crazy 5 headed medusa dog ear thing at the top cola lol! This is the prettier of the two yet still has a good ways to go for more color and mass.

This is interesting and just noticed it, the black pheno got the common stalk tiger stripes, but the green pheno did not.

Update picture tiiiiiimeee! The Black Creams are doing just great, couldn't ask for better! Haven't had time to feed them as much as they could've had, but still performed excellently. The leaves are about 1/3 used up, and in my experience with Sweet Seeds in my conditions, they should be ready to chop when the leaves are about 2/3 to 3/4 used up. :)
