Morning all hope everyone is healthy and doing well.

Long story short;

Inherited a 2x2x5 tent and 1000w dual led light setup and was given what is supposed to be a super skunk auto flower.??
Started it in the tent on aug 4, at 18/6 and have been on 12/12 (flowering light only) since sept 11th. Never topped but did bend it over to control height. Growing in regular potting soil. Only feeding an occasional dose of molasses and and super flowering food (had a frog on it) from the neighbor. First shot at this, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for your time. No reason to be on 12/12 if it is an auto. I grow autos under 18/6. The additional light makes a fair difference in the end product.
Seems like in experimentation, over 18 hrs is the point of diminishing returns.
Sounds like you have something along the lines of a "viparspectra" light with veg and bloom switches...Personally, I'd look at the "wall draw" of the light... chances are you'd get better production with both lights on.

Autos don’t need the 12/12 Light Schedule only Photoperiods need that to induce flowering, I’d stick her back on 18/6, Some people even run their autos on 20/4 or even 24/0 with no dark period, Looking good though for a first attempt

Thanks for the replies. I will reset it at 18/6. I was getting worried that they would hit my lights or get too much heat. I cant go any higher with the light.

I’m not sure if it’s possible looking at it as it may be a little too late but you could try and very carefully tuck those long branches under the scrog a little more

Really good looking healthy plant for first grow dude ! Yea more light during each day might speed it up a little bit but would def be the preferred schedule like the other posters mentioned

Just curious, did you have your light the same distance away from the canopy during the whole grow, or was it lower and did you higher the light as they increased in size?

I was thinking the same thing, Looks like the light could of done with being lower in the beginning and raised as the plant was growing to reduce stretching of the plant (If that wasn’t done already) I’m no expert though and we all learn something new especially when it’s your first grow! Either way that plant looks very healthy so only better to come in the future, Live learn and grow better!:pass:

Smokey96 -yea I was to slow in sliding it up so will have to add some support higher up.
Gutlez- I tried keeping the light about 24-30 inches above till It caught up to it, now its 1.5 to 2 inches away.

We learn as we go and get better over time. I learn something new every day, and I test a few things out here and there. I currently have 6 Gorilla Glue #4 and they’re starting to pre flower. I’m no expert by any means. I do recommend LST your babies next time so you have more of an even canopy. Also it’ll help with the lower bud sights later in flower after a bit of defoliation just to uncover some of those lower sites. Good luck brother
