For the first time i've checked the PH of everything think I may have found the problem of yellowing leaves, i've calibrated the meter

Water - 5.9
Water with nutes - 4.4
runoff - 5.8

I have some PH up which is potassium hydroxide (KOH) 25%

Would any of you kind people advise what to do to bring the ph up to check, not sure how far to bring the water - water/nute mix up

Ive taken a couple of pics

Easy mate,alls looking good considering your ph being a little low.bring it up to around the 6.3 range but use a pippet or syringe as its really strong mate.add yr nutes then the ph up...or try mixing yr nutes into yr tap water as its ph will be higher than the bottled water yr using and with yr nutes it may come in closer.i wouldn't carry on putting 4.4 ph into the soil it could cause more probs down the line mate even though yr soil is buffering it back up quite well.

You get that straightened out and you'll have some Blue Ribbon Babes on your hands!

It had to happen, i've spotted mould, 2 months of constant rain has taken it's toll so i've chopped 1, and might chop the other so I at least get a little smoke out of these

I've got a usb microscope so heres a couple of close-ups of the damage

Really annoyed as the plant was comming along quite well

Plus side is I have some new seads that i'm going to grow and hopefully we will have an Indian summer so all is not lost

Apart from the mould it's been a good grow for me as i've learn't loads thanks to you lot :thumbs: so hopefully the weather will be a little kinder in the comming months and my gained knowledge will grow better buds

Oh man, villain, that sucks bad. Sorry to hear it. I really hope the weather turns around so the other one stays safe.

Jeez, sorry to hear about the mold. At least you caught it quick. Don't throw away the molded bud. A water cure will remove the mold and then it can either be dried and smoked or used to make oil or hash.

Some badluck indeed, I've had a poorly dried/cured bag get mold spots. tastes less than awesome. Hope that water cure works out.

Thanks Noods, the weather is still not looking good for at least another week with rain forcast, I wish I caught the rot a little quicker as the main cola was worse than looked from the outside (i'll post some pics in a min)

Thanks Muddy, wish I read this and searched about a water cure as 80% of the top bud is now in my compost bin, one to think of in the future
