Another thing to consider is how well you are shaking your products before adding them to your solution.
Shake well, means at least 30 seconds or until completely mixed, which ever is longer.
When testing my friends and students, I found most people shake products requiring it about 5-15 seconds and think shaking it faster makes up for less time.
CA products have a ph buffers that may not perform as well if it is not well shaken.
As for enzyme products, I have no stakes in hygrozyme, but I have not had issues with it at mfg dosages.
I have not used Rot Stop, but it may be worth a shot if you find the problem reoccuring with the Hygrozyme.

As for topping or not and when to flip.
Need to know,
had you considered revegging this after harvest?
Or possibly taking cuttings a few weeks before flip?

Definitely not well enough on the shaking... I shake them like 5 seconds...

Canna kind of pisses me off because their bottles are leaky pieces of.... Advanced's nutes were also leaky but not often and not as bad. I ended up pouring the Cannanutes into glass bottles that have water tight lids so I COULD shake them without getting covered in red dye and shit.

I wont take any cuttings before the flip because I am bad enough starting from seeds, and have nowhere for the clones sadly :\ One day I seriously want to move to clones because I could take out the pheno variable and really dial in some nutes and environment after growing the clone out a few times. Maybe a year or two from now I will be familiar enough with gardening to try clones.

I have seen Re-veging but but considered it a sort of advanced technique?

I was planning on starting another grow right after this one, so if the reveg would save significant time I would definitely consider it....

Thanks again man for stopping by :D I got those water bottles in the freezer now and prepping to move that carbon filter this weekend.

Ksj u the man! I can't remember whose setup I was looking at but I talked to someone recently about moving my filter up off the floor... If that will make it cooler then I sure as hell better figure it out because it will also give me some much needed room on the floor. Thanks man! I will start figuring out how I can get that filter up there

If you look at the top of this picture, I have my carbon filter up along the top truss of the tent, with the hose going out one of the ports that would be used for a cool tube or something along those lines.. As Greybear said, use some bungees.. That's what I used, and it was easy to set up by myself.. I had my inline outside the tent, and it worked great!! On warmer days, I cranked the speed up, and at night, if I remembered to, I would turn it down..

OK, I understand.
either lst the top by bending it over gently and tying it off, you can adjust this down over time.
Or super crop, rather than fim or top.
Just gently squeeze the main branch where you want it to bend the span of an inch on the branch (as opposed to on narrow place that is likely to snap)
If you do it gently, and take your time, it will begin to feel floppy., if it feels like it might snap, A piece of duct tape or medical tap will work fine to support it. ( I have jammed completely broken branches back together and tapped it many times, branch hardly missed a beat.).
You want it to bend over pretty good., This will release auxins and a "power struggle" among the branches for dominance.

If it breaks off and you can't reattach it, then you have topped it. It won't be much of a problem, if any. The surviving branches below will compete to be the main cola. and you can just grow them as a four trunk hub.

Then I just try to manage the height by tugging the most dominant branch down each day.

When you are ready, cuttings are rather simple to do and can be a way to significantly increase your yield.

Hey Grey Bear, thanks for all the clarification ;D

I think I might try the super cropping. I read a few tutorials on it before this grow and I had considered it since it also seemed to make the bent kola get huge. I'm not sure though on some things...

1. Should I wait until the plant is like in perfect health before doing training? SHe is currently droopy and has a bit of rot... still figuring that out, but I think I can get past it at this point. I normally LST pretty early, but I haven't touched her because seh has never really looked perfectly healthy or even like.. I dunno just not very healthy...

2. How many water bottles at a time lol?.... I think I misunderstood the first post and I tried putting 2 in there. I also didn't compensate and lower the rez volume ahead of time so it dripped up out of the bucket LOL... not funny at the time, but kind of funny now...

3. How can cuttings increase yield? Is it because it's like pruning? Or because you can do a sea of green with the cuttings afterward? Sorry I am pretty ignorant of what you can do with cuttings or what they do for the mother plant...

Thanks a bunch for stopping by again!

1. yes, it is best to do things like that when the plant is healthy

2. opps, yeah just one bottle at a time should do it. I would put one in at lights on, and then swap it out as close to six hours later as you can. (you will need to dial this in or, just deal with what you can if work requires you to be gone longer)

3. If you have a separate veg area, you can take cuttings, and just veg them as long as you want, effectively, multiplying your yield from one plant.

if you must veg and flower in the same area you can take cuttings, and root them in the same grow area and them flip them when you flip the mother.
(I did this when topping, because I because I can't stand to throw things away, and if you were going to top it anyway, why not try to get a plant from the top. (it can be as simple as sticking the cutting in a glass of water, if that is all you have energy for))

I think the best choice for you right now is supercropping when she is a bit perkier.

Sounds good man! Thanks for taking the time to answer all that :D

She is still a bit droopy today... I think this time because of the rot, but it's pretty minimal brown stuff on the roots so I think she should bounce back once I get the rez temps lower.

Thanks again!!!

Hey Animatey,
although i totaly understand why you want to go for clones, did you know that you get stronger more healthy plants out of seeds?
I thought about clones too but i have a very limited space and want to grow the best plants possible.

Hey Faquari! It was actually your setup I think that made me realize I needed to get the carbon filter up off the ground.

As far as vigor when growing from seed or clone I have actually read two different things.

Usually it's the seed companies that want you to grow from seed LOL... Sensi seeds has almost the same article as the RQ one, but I can't find the damn thing right now for some reason...

It could be true for all I know, but to get an opposing view, here is Lucas on the issue:
"Seed grows have several issues that cause me to recommend that you take clones from the seedlings, and only bloom the clones. seed moms are not as chronologically mature as cuttings from those seed moms. In fact, the first round of clones wont achieve full chronological maturity.
by chronological maturity, Im raising the issue of how old the plant is when harvested. If its less than 6 months, you have not seen the full potency potential in the harvest."

What's actually true?? I dunno lol... I follow Lucas advice as it has done OK for me generally, but I have also followed advice from RQS and Sensi Seeds blogs that has been helpful. tricky...

Got the filter up above the LED, and put a 80CFM fan on the bottom blowing in. Total drop of 3-5 degrees :D !!! Significant!!! Cab temps are now at 77-79 at peak.

Thanks so much guys for the help :D For some reason the lady didn't like the water bottles, but without them my rez temps are about 73-75 and with h202 and a 4 inch disk with 6 watts air I feel OK about it.

The plant is perking up now finally... no signs of rot even remain. After a few days of good health I intend to do a super crop on the main stem and cut off the bottom 2 sets of branches. Flowering will happen 2 weeks later assuming she looks healthy... I will try to tie down the highest branch each day to keep the canopy even.

Thanks again guys for all the help, altogether made some big diffs!!! Thanks!

Sounds great.
When you cut those branches, if all you can do is stick them in a piece of moist rockwool or glass of water, try it, you may get a new plant or two out of it.
Just consider it a little side thing that was trash if it doesn't take any way.
You might be surprised.

Good Luck!
