New Grower An Assortment of Owls(6x Night Owl Seeds(Daz.mephisto))

Thanks for the pictures! I may tie one of my girls down just for shits and giggles.
No problem! Had a rough start this one with germination and all... Just got another 5 ZE seeds today in the mail! Looking forward to really doing this one justice in the future! Also planning a solo 2x2 grow next spring after my vacation with ZE and give her the whole tent!

Alright folks! It's that time again! Grab your popcorn! :pop:

Update [HASHTAG]#7[/HASHTAG] is underway!

Tent Conditions:
Temp: 22-29°C
RH: 50-60%

Part 1:
First up Zamaldelica Express and Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]: Both on Day 28 today! End of Week 4!

Moved light to 75cm(30 inches)
Zamaldelica Express

She's really starting to flower now and her stretch is just beginning! Currently standing at 18cm!Aside from her usual clawing leaves. Still haven't fed any N, but her runoff was low last watering(5.9 and ingoing was 6.8), so opting to give her a good plain water PH'd to 7 next watering and see where I stand then with her runoff PH. Other than that, I got her to do a complete 180°!! Anyways looking forward to how much she stretches! Been trying to limit how far outward I'm tying her branches, as I don't want her getting too wide, I'm running outa space! Also been doing defoliation on her earlier than usual to try and limit her size. Will def give her some much needed space next time I grow her!

Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]

So bear with me here :smoking: Since I'm overly paranoid about mold I don't want the tent to get overcrowded. Since this topped Owl Pellet here was alreads on the smalelr and stockier side, I decided I was going to try some heavy defoliation to try and limit her size further. I did the heavy defoliation on Day 25 and she seems to have taken quite well actually. I'm also not going to be tying her branches out any further toward the edge of the pot. At the end of Week 4 I can say I'm happy with how she's coming along! Just starting to flower and stretch, so will wait another week or so and hit her with a final defoliation/lolipoping as not to get too many tops in one spot. I'd rather less but bigger buds. Quality over quantity! Still short as ever at 10cm! Excited to see what kinda plant she ends up growing into being a mystery and all  Still short as ever at 10cm!

Update [HASHTAG]#7[/HASHTAG] Part 2:

Up Next:
Tropical Wiz and Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]:
Light same height: 45cm(18 inches)

Tropical Wiz:

I actually forgot she was a bit younger, so as I was defoliating the older Blue Microverse, I went a little overboard here on the Tropical Wiz since the last update. I think she'll catch herself though, she's still stretching! She was always behind the same ages Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] so nothing to distress over yet. So far so good! Looking forward to what she can give me in height this week! Won't defoliate for a while.

Started on her feed/plain water schedule, 1/4 dose(1ml/l) for now, BioCanna BioBoost, BioFlores and some sparing doses of calmag when I feel she needs it again after her initial introductory flower feeding(which was on Day 27). Runoff PH last plain watering was almost perfect, it was 6.5 and ingoing was 6.8, which I think means soil PH is around 6.2, which isn't too bad for soil! I'm going to give another 1/4 dose feeding of BioFlores and 1/2 Bioboost next watering without the calmag but PH'd to 7 this time to try and get the soil's PH a bit closer to 6.5! Then I'll be happy as a fiddle!

Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]:

I'm really loving this mystery plant so far! She's been keeping up with her older topped sister the Super Cyan Haze, just a tad smaller. Done some defoliation and minor lolipoping but nothing much. She's growing a double headed bud! Yay! I had 3 of those during my first grow all on my White Cracks(Mephisto), maybe this is a white crack since he includes meph seeds aswell in the owl pellets? We'll see!

She's took her first feed along with her older sister, Super Cyan Haze, since they drink the same amount at the moment. She's taken it with ease! I upped the dose to 1/2 BioBoost and 1/2 BioFlores PH'd to 6.8 and she had a runoff of 6.9! Which means I can skip the plain watering next and go at her again with the same strength to see if she can take it! Happy to see higher runoff Ph rather than lower haha!

And that's all for Part 2 folks! I'll be right back with Part 3! Stay put! :smoking: Let me know what you think!

Update [HASHTAG]#7[/HASHTAG] Part 3:

Up Next:
Super Cyan Haze and Blue Microverse: Both on Day 35! End of Week 5!

Light is at 60cm at the moment(24 inches)

Blue Microverse:
Man I'm loving her! Never thought a Plant that was supposedly small was going to open up this much! Hit her with her last defoliation and lolipoping over the past few days, gona let her do her thing now until the last defoliation 3 weeks into flower, around day 42-45.

I Have her on the same feed/water schedule as the Tropical Wiz at the moment, but I think she'll start drinking faster now. After her last PH'd plain watering, her runoff PH was also at 6.5, ingoing 6.8. So next feeding will be 1/2 strength PH'd to 7.2 to see how she reacts! Nothing to complain about though! No signs of deficiencies on any of these ladies here!

Super Cyan Haze:
Alright! So looks like she's final stalling out on her main stretch and the bud sites and slowly starting to develop more and more! Yay! She's going to be a beast! Also did some minor defoliation and lolipoping on her but not much. Done until the 3 week into flower defoliation. No more signs of any male flowers, so maybe that unidentifiable thing i found(pic in the last update) wasn't anything to worry about!

She's also been taking her feeds like a champ! Her runoff PH was 6.7 during her last feeding, 1/2 dose Bioboost and Bioflores PH'd to 6.8, so seems like she can take some more with her soil PH being slightly above 6,5! Giving her another feed along with the Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] next time and going to see how she reacts to it!

Update [HASHTAG]#7[/HASHTAG] BONUS Part!

1L Airpot Owl Pellet for the r/autoflowers growoff: Day 20 today
Took her tying down quite well and will be spread out enough tomorrow to setup my plan to train her! 4 small sticks around the side of the pot and a tie between them to keep the branches down and out! I did this with an experimental 1L outdoor grow this summer with some free FastBuds Zkittlez Auto I got.
And just today on day 20 has really started putting out lots of pistils!

all are lookin good & happee bud! ppp
Thanks man! I'm stoked so far about how smooth its going! Getting nervous! But seems with checking runoff earlier this time I got the nutes in check without the need for an EC meter!

Maybe I'm not the first, but a group of owls is a parliament.

Looking good!

I did not know that! Lmao that's awesom! Definately the name of my next grow! And thank you! Appreciate you stopping by!

Alright folks! Grab your popcorn! :pop:

It's time for Update [HASHTAG]#8[/HASHTAG]!

Tent Conditions:
Temps: 21-28°C
RH: 40-50%

Part 1:
Once again, the youngest pair comes first: Zamaldelica Express and Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]: Both on Day 33 today!
Light distance(P300) is around 65-70cm(26-28 inches) now.

Zamaldelica Express
Man I'm absolutely in love with this plant despite her clawing leaves  She's been an absolute blast to LST. I tied her main down one last time as she was still flexible and now she has an almost perfectly even canopy! Looking forward to seeing how much she stretches: still looks like she has alot left in her! Gave her first real feed a few days ago, BioBoost, Bioflores and a dash of Calmag(didn't want to earlier as her clawing leaves had me worried of N tox). Ingoing PH was 6.8, runoff was 6.6ph. I'm happy with that and will be giving 6.5 PH'd waterings/feeds from now on! I think her clawing leaves just might be genetic in this case, or from the wind. No Idea but I'm not bothered by it anymore, it's actually grown on me :smoking:

Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]

My heavy defoliation slowed her down quite good but she's not finally starting to put in work stretching! Her feeds have been the same as the Zamaldelica and so far so good! She just drinks a bit less! Wonder how much more she will stretch, or if my defoliation(to limit her size, so I guess win-win? lol) was mistimed completely. Hoping she surprises me this following week with some nice stretching!

Update [HASHTAG]#8[/HASHTAG] Part 2:

Up Next:
Tropical Wiz and Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]: Both on Day 37 today!
Light same height: 45cm(18 inches)

Tropical Wiz:

I'm pretty sure she would be a bit bigger if I hadn't mistimed my defoliations/lolipoping by a few days... but oh well, ya live and ya learn. I still think she has some stretching left to do before she starts bulking! Either way she hasn't been showing any major signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies! Been slowly upping her feed and she seems to be liking it so far! Last feeding ingoing PH was 6.7 and outgoing was 6.5! So far so good!

Owl Pellet [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]:

This lady right here is one HUNGRY girl! Her previous feeding was at half strength, BioBoost and BioFlores goin in at 6.4ph, runoff was at 6.6ph. So I upped her dose to full strength and aded a half dose of Super PK 13/14, ingoing was 6.2, and regretfully I forgot to record the runoff PH after measuring it, but I seem to remember it going around 6.5, so not bad, but looks like I can continue feeding her full strength, but going to give her some calmag instead of the PK next time, since she's STILL losing some colour in lower fan leaves. Hope I'm not misjudging or misunderstanding the corelation between ingoing/outgoing PH values. Since I don't have an EC meter, I'm assuming a lower PH is a higher PPM, so if runoff PH is higher than ingoing, that would mean runoff is lower ppm than ingoing ppm, which would mean plants are hungry. Am I wrong here? PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong.

Let me know what you think, and please let me know if I'm misunderstanding the relationship between ingoing/outgoing PH and what they mean.

Thank you!:bighug::biggrin:
