Archie, you're exactly right. I was looking for a good breeder that had an auto cbd. And I was a whore for a GrowBattle. So this Dinafem GOTY seemed like the perfect opportunity.
I grow, not for myself, but for a medical patient who needs very strong indica dominant strains. But after a year of dual-tent growing, I have sufficient inventory now of those. So we're branching out into the sativa dominants and of course the cbds. This is my first run on CBD -- and its motivated by interest from many good friends as well as myself. I'd like a nice CBD smoke that has a very mild sativa THC element -- something that will be good day-time medicine for folks who want energy, motivation and creativity, but don't want couch-lock or to take a nap.
I'm also keenly interested in making lotions and tinctures from the cbd. So I've got a Magical Butter Machine that I'll be trying out soon.
dinafem sure seems to be at the pokey end of the cbd stick. Dudeski for the mbm and Root for tincture, was just reading about the honey tincture and well worth a bash.

Thanks Archie. I've been following Dude's MBM thread thoroughly, but haven't locked in yet on a Root's thread -- but you're now the 2nd person I've seen recommend him. Gotta check it out.
By the way, what to you mean by "dinafem sure seems to be at the pokey end of the cbd stick" ???
Here's the gals on day 21. Yesterday I topped the two Amnesia CBDs. They get a bit of Optic Foliar mist in the morning, but that's all lately. No watering or feeding since 4 days ago when they each got .75 liter of MegaCrop @ 1g/L with a bit of CalMag
as far as cbd strains go i think dinafem are leading the way, with dp close behind them with not much else out there as far as breeders go.i could be wrong havnt looked into it in detail.
@archie gemmill Oh, goodie. I wasn't sure if "pokey" meant the sharp (leading) end of the stick, or the slow, dawdling end -- as in "late to the party." I'm happy to have chosen well. I also got (as a freebee from a Sweet Seeds contest) a few Sweet Nurse Auto CBD seeds. One was planted and is now on day 17. Will be kicking-off a journal on that and 4 other Sweet Seeds plants in a few days.
Thanks a bunch @Dinafem-Mark. Nice to have you along. Feel free to offer any suggestions or comments along the way.
Yeh, Grower of the Year threads can get "noisy" with extraneous chatter, but are fun to see the variety of strains and grow styles in one place. But an individual dedicated grow journal gives both space and focus so its easier to follow the progression, predicaments and progress of a specific grow. I like both.
Since this is my first time with Dinafem strains, I wanted a specific journal to capture everything about it.
