Ya she does. She can grow some sexy plants in promix, this DWC just has a little bit different method that you have to adjust too

Well, the last week has been a bummer but a good learning experience. I had an airstone go bad and woke up to a crazy brown slime problem. All growth stopped and I started loosing leaves pretty quick. Tried a couple things over the week and thought I had it under control and then it came back yesterday with a vengeance. Water temp was 68F and the new airstone was working great but my res was covered in brown slime and the roots looked horrible. So I decided that I would scrap her and start new. I had put her through so much and she was just not going to be able to do much even if she recovered so I pulled her and dropped a Mephisto HBSS.
Things I have learned. Water matters, Keep It Simple, Double check for light leaks, Less Is More and do not ever think that you have your grow "locked down". Always check your equipment and make sure to sanitize your Rez in between changes.
So, I have cleaned everything up real well and am waiting for the HBSS to pop up. I will continue the new DWC on this thread so if you are following along there will be more to come.

Looking into trying DWC myself in a few weeks so seeing what you've done is a huge help. This is a great learning tool for those of us just getting into it so I appreciate all your work.

Thanks for following along @dcat0921. The biggest issue I think I had was with my water. On this next run it will be using R/O water only. So far I have filled up the Res with a light nutrient solution just to monitor what my PH & PPM will do while I wait for my HBSS to pop up. What I have noticed is I don't have the PH swings anymore. The PH climbs a little but not crazy like with my tap water.
