Indoor AK-48 auto fem from Nirvana

Hello folks,

This is my fist post other than my intro here, and I'm happy to be able to share my first grow with the knowledgeable people on this forum. As the title says, I'm growing AK-48. I am only growing one plant as of now, just to see how things go. I'm considering germing another seed, since I have 3 haha. I've taken photos of this pretty girl since she sprouted, and have left minor notes on the grow (basicallly things I figured I wouldn't remember, I never really planned on a formal grow log).

Anyway, I haven't posted yet because I have about 35 photos and I need to sift through them to pick the best, but aaaaaaaanyway...you kind folks will be updated as soon as they are sorted and uploaded :smoking:

All I can say so far is she has been:

Properly pH'd (at least from week 3 until now lol)

Temp & Humidity monitored

Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soiled

Full range of nutes ordered (but I haven't used them in several weeks due to some clawing, think the soil
might be too hot?)

grown with 4 23w 2700k CFLs

Used mylar coated walls

Well, let me start out by posting this photo, this is where it all started. I germinated the seed for two days, then planted in a 3 gallon pot, not knowing that its better to step up the size gradually. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20

As you can see on this one, had some heat stress setting in, so I added a fan and backed the light off

Look at that stem!

Trouble in paradise; I waited too long to water and she obviously got a little depressed. No worries though, a gallon of water was the right medicine

Whew! A healthy recovery!

And finally, a picture I just took, she is at day 49, Im not seeing any pistils yet, so we'll see what happens

I'm growing two of these along with two Nirvana Lemon OG Haze right now. They're at about 24 days old now. One pheno is definitely more sativa-like and the other is more indica like. Looking forward to seeing how yours pans out, it looks very healthy!

That is concerning that it's not showing sex at 49 days. The taller of mine is already showing some strong pistils at its age of 24 days. I have heard many times that these seeds fail to auto, so you may have to end up flipping it to 12/12.
