Im currently growing in 3 gallon fabric bags and am going to grow 10 autos in 2 gallon air pots. (Budmud medium).
Anyone have experience with these airpots in this size? They seem pretty good?

I think I'll try air pots as well next time but what I don't understand is the difference in the expensive ones over a 100 a pot and the 5 quid ones on ebay and Ali Baba, they look the exact same to me.

I've always grown in small pots with the "hefty autos in small places" idea....I've been changing my grow pots from mostly plastic 2-3 ltr to the 1 gal air pot due to ease of handling. Seems plants are healthier too. Learning to fill properly is the first thing...
When I transplant my double solo cup seedling, I make sure the cut outs of the solo cup are below the medium level and the medium is above the top holes of the airpot. The solo cup forms a type of funnel which aids in minimizing feed/water mining out the side. If the airpot is packed properly, you'll have little issue.
I get mine from amazon...bout 15 bucks each.

Im growing critical purple, 6 in air pots and 4 in fabric bags to do a comparison. The air pots started 3 days after the bags and I gotta say they are taking off and passing the ones in the bags. All I did was top once and Im letting them go the rest of the way.

This has me thinking I should buy a couple of these air pots and slowly build up a supply. Thanks for the side by side, what I was looking for!

I too am slowly changing all my flowering pots to airpots, 1 gal size. I tried fabrics but handling is my problem... small airpots are one-handers...never tried any other than 1 gal...but I grow a lot of'em. first time you tear into the root ball of an airpot, you'll know why you use'em.

What are you seeing for dry yields off the 1gal

Let me qualify my answer by saying, I've grown perpetually in 1 gal ,or less, pots for over 15 yrs so am kinda used to what it takes to grow weed in small containers. I run 3-4 strains of different breeders at all times...being a very conservative feeder, and never pushing...my yeilds are between 1.5-2.5 oz dry per plant running 12/12 with 46w sq ft. Yeah, I know I'm different but it's sure furnished me a lot of weed...
