Currently into a grow and have been reading about this unit on the forums. I figured $35 hell ill give it a shot and compare it to my 190cfm. Tips on hooking this thing up in my grow tent. Does not look like my other fan. Does the Ceiling piece come off and attach to carbon filter?

The description I read says it has a 4" round plastic hookup for duct work but it's on the exhaust side. You could mount the fan in your tent and hook up the filter externally using a piece of flexible duct, but then you are pushing, instead of pulling, the air through the filter. That will reduce the CFM. I doubt there's anything under the plastic grill that would allow you easily hook up on the intake side unless you fashion something yourself.

Might as well make a project out of it i will post any results that i may come across. Please send positive waves ~~--~~--~~--~~>

Does this need to be wired to a switch?

Yes it does. You could also put it on a variable speed controller instead of a simple on/off switch.

i have one... is my main and only ventilation fan... works like a charm... but yes it dos produce positive pressure

So i finally got it installed. Way more quiet than my other inline fan even in the lowest setting. Im just curious how she will handle smells and temps. I also went ahead and added a booster fan to aid in letting fresh cooler air so i hope it helps. I will get a review after a couple days
