I currently have a 195 cfm 4" in line running with an 80cfm in. It was ok during the winter but now it just is not cutting it. I am thinking of getting a hydrofarm active air 400cfm for exhaust amd using the 195cfm for the fresh air. How do you guys feel about the cfm ratio in to out??? And the brand of fan? 2nd question I currently have a led wholesalers carbon filter. 4" of course and i need to get a 6". How do you guys feel about the brand ? I chose it because of the price point. I have never had any other brands. The 6" by led wholesaler is 90.00. I also found a phat brand filter for 129.00 and the local hydro has a filter for 159.00 I do not remember what brand. Any input on the subject would be greatly appreciated as I have to do something soon as the weather warms up.

THe fan is probably fine. Those are pretty simple devices and hard to mess up. On the lights well in the LED world there are all sorts of lights and almost all are crap save a handful of brands. You get exactly what you pay for in regards to those. You will have to pay a considerable amount more to get a decent LED that can grow anything. Blackstar 240w LED Panel is a good one and you will find lots of reviews on them. Some other brands are Pentrator, Advanced LED, California Light Works. Many more but I cant remember off the top of my head.

I am sure you are right about the cheap filter not lasting long. I would also like ask people what they are using and get recommendations about what carbon filters a good quality. I am not opposed to paying more I just do not know what is better due to lack of experience. Rhapsodyrcks I am confused by your reply. I did not ask anything about lighting and pretty much your entire reply was on led lighting. I think maybe led wholesalers confused you. It is a company that sells a whole bunch of cheap grow stuff. I bought a carbon filter from them and just wanted to know if anyone else had experience with them. Like thai buddha man said they sell a bunch of Chinese stuff.

I'm using a can 2600 with my td100x on low setting and so far it's a champ. Tent full of drying bud and no smell at all. Zero. I can't even smell the mouse cage in my room, FINALLY!

Youll be fine with that. I use the HTGSupply.com filter and its lasted over a year. Its a reallly simple thing. Just a hollow metal thing with carbon in it. Theres really no "high quality" carbon. carbon is carbon.

Did you buy through them on ebay??? If so, I ordered the 6"fan and filter combo, and it is good. I don't smell my plants until I am working with them. And that is saying something, considering that I am in the last stages of flowering with Larry OG. She is a stinky bitch. I can't decide if she smells like lemon pledge, or pinesol. But it is strong. You can't smell her at all when the tent is closed up.
