Indoor Afghan Kush Ryder and Russian Rocket Fuel Grow Log

Hello Everyone. I just put together this new tent setup, and I will be trying it out for the first time. I have never tried to grow an Autoflowering plant, so this should be a relativly new experience for me. It has me very excited. I am a MMJ patient where I live, and I am growing for my own personal use, so I will be concentrating on bud quality/density rather than quantity.

The Set up:

4x4x6 AgroMax Tent
400WT HPS
1- 6' inline fan & carbon filter combo
3- 6' high powered duct fans (2 are cooling the light using the push pull method, and the other is being used for the fresh air intake.)
2- 6' clip on fan for circulation
1- 12' Oscalating Fan
50% Fox Farms Ocean Forrest - 50% Happy Frog potting Soil
4 x5g plastic pots
1x 3g Felt Pot


I picked up some 'World of Seeds' Afghan Kush Ryder from Attitude seed bank. I recieved 1 Dinafem Automatic Fruit free as well. They arrived 11 days after I placed the order.

I put in the order for the Russian Rocket Fuel a few days later, so I am still waiting on them but they should arrive any day now.

Day 1:

I started the germintion process with x2 of my Afghan Kush Ryder seeds even though my Russian Rocket Fuel has not yet arrived. Both seeds popped within 24 hours using the paper towel technique. Both went directly into their pre-soaked 5g homes and started on 20/4 light cycle.

Day 2: No activity of note. Soil is still moist.

Day 3: Woot! Both Seedlings have pushed above soil. Soil is dry on the very top, but stil moist a few cm down. I have not added any additional water since pre soaking the soil on day 1

Day 4: Impressive growth for such a short amount of time. Soil is moist, but I had to go about knuckel deep to find it.

Asi I read a few message board reviews about this strain not autoflowering, and needing 12/12 to flower. Most of the complaints were dated '09. I was able to dig up at least a dozen positive experiences with the strain. So I figured I would try it out. I was actually leaning towards the Automatic Hindu Kush, but this was out of stock on attitude when I placed my order.

It has been 10 days since I placed the order so it should be here any day now.
