Hi guys I am growing a daquiri lime auto from Dutch passion and I have been doing lst for a couple of weeks now do you think it’s time to let her off and just grow vertical at this stage?

She is nice and flattened out only 24cm from soil to highest top and pretty even canopy the plant is 39 days old now. I am just asking because the plant does look a little down for a while after adjusting which I know is normal I’m just looking for opinions from others who have done lots of lst before does it have any benefit to keep restraining plant for as long as possible?

I was contemplating removing a few of the bigger leaves alright it seems to be getting very crowded. I’ll get to it this evening when I get home and then let her grow up

Great was thinking she needs to be let go because there is enough tops on her just wasn’t 100% sure as never properly done lst before I have to say it’s very rewarding when you see all the flower tops forming.

I also have a zkittles OG growing and she was very stubborn and stiff from 2-3 weeks and didn’t want me to bend her at all I tried a couple times but for sure branches would have snapped. Here she is below maybe she doesn’t need the training given her structuré.

She looks like a nice plant, that does its own thing and pretty much looks after herself. Structure, internodal spacing. Just a nice plant :smokeit:
:pighug:

Hello dude, yeah let her go up from here remove some of the shader leaves....she looks nice and healthy to me.

Also when removing leaves is there a max amount of the larger fan leaves you should remove in one go? Would it be better to snip a couple leaves a day as you go or just get all the leaves shading removed in the one go?

Yeah for sure Barneys genetics have impressed me so far they are very easy to grow and very vigorous. Thanks for chiming in guys

I’m actually going to stick up a diary for the two of them now. I though I had done it before and just realised today that I set up a blog instead a couple weeks ago
