Old Reviews Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect

Are u suggesting to no longer use Cal/mag. And just supplement with Epsom salt.....

I know this may be wrong thread so I apologize.... got some stuff from hydro store called hum bolts county's own snow storm ultra....will have pics tonight of all my new toys,as anyone used this stuff

I noticed with the basic line (g-m-b) of the ph perfect even at less than half strength i couldn't do back to back feedings or they wanted to burn.

Have to feed them then give a plain watering then feed and so on.

Mind you that i'm only doing ss#1 which i've found to be ultra nute sensitive but i've heard of others having the same problem with the basic line.

or if you think your in a cal/mag deficiency.... then use an organic cal/mag like dolomite or molasses... IMO cal/mag are micro nutes and needed in very low concentrations..

Yeah I forgot to add I'm only feeding 1/2 strength also.

That's what I use is molasses. I usually give every other watering maybe that's a bit much

thats a big I forgot... well if your at half power, with additives maybe thats the same as regular strength... when I did the AN hydro calculator my EC and ppm were spot on what AN called for..

You know I have always speculated that there is a "safe" absorption range for all plants... what I am saying that in a side by side there may be little difference between a plant watering everytime with 2000 PPM of "bloom" and 1000 PPM of bloom... the outcome may be very close to equal? I'm not sure, but it might be something we can figure out here in this thread with comparing usage.?

Its well worth figuring out because the best chem weed is the weed grown with the least amount of chems as necessary. And it is the oposite with orgainics the richer you can make your orgainc soil without burning your plants the better they will grow... But not so with synthetics the safe range IMO is much wider than most people think... The key is to walk the fine line of feeding 100% of what the plant needs while walking the fine line at the bottom of the "safe" range...

Plus... the money savings... if half strenght is the same as full for your givin plant then, you just cut your fert needs in half..

years and years ago I found that the three part GH (grow, micro and bloom) well the grow... total waste of money it was not needed at all, I tested both ways and it was worthless...

This is a fool proof feed for GH nutes one I have tested for years and years...

i ended up mixing in the fox farm supplements to my sensi bloom and it worked out well. i tried but never got the "ph perfect" part to work but the nutes were still good quality. i think the an ones are a lot hotter than ff

I've been using the AN pH Perfect Sensi A and B for a few months now. So far it's been about 24 plants of various strains. Ghaze x Diesel, Psirens, RRF, Bad Betty, Parkistani Ryder, Duurty Dragon and PR x BB. All grown in straight Pro Mix. The only additives I'm using are B-52 and Overdrive. I feed them with every watering. Under LEDs and using HP, I normally water about every 4 days. I've found that they tolerate 1/2 strength very well. It wasn't till I pushed them to 3/4 that I saw a little nute burn. So far I've not experienced any deficiencies so have not had to supplement with anything. No cal/mag, no molasses, no epsom salts. As always, I check my pots when the grow is finished and found very little salt build up in the pots. So far, here's what I've observed.

My veg growth is much better than what I've ever had using FF of GO Biothrive. The plants are bigger, stronger and in general much healthier. It's not a huge difference, but it is noticeable.

Pro Mix starter nutes are being exhausted by about 12 - 15 days. Have been starting 1/4 strength at that point with excellent results.

I haven't seen the big, explosive buds that Jackal has gotten but that's mainly from the strains I've been growing. I had a bad run of runts, especially from the GhxD and RRF. The buds were much fatter with a few that only got to 7 - 8" tall being almost as big in diameter.

Trichome coverage is noticeable increased.

The previously mentioned female dominance.

As long as I have rain water it's working as advertised, bringing my pH to the desired range. However if I have to use tap water, it's not as effective. There is a direct correlation between the starting ppm of the water and it's ability to properly adjust the pH. Where my rain water generally runs around 60 ppm, my tap can go as high as 300. At 300 ppm it will not bring the pH down enough. I'm still tracking this and when I have more data, will elaborate.
