New Grower Advanced Nutrients Feeding Schedule...?

Coild you name who..? I couldnt find anything mate
I grow using an organic living soil now. But I did grow hydro for years.... I never liked bud candy, found BigBud a better supplement. I always felt it messed with the taste of the final product... In soil we use molasses as a food for the living things in the soil. Tons of energy there... There are nutrients in it also.... But the real reason I use it is it boosts my soil. I spread my mulch to the side sprinkle a bit of amendments on top of the soil then, I use a dried molasses, actually it molasses and beet pulp, sprinkled on top of that the put my 3 to 4 inch of mulch back on top. They say the top few mm's of the soil are the most active, if kept moist.... sorry I didn't know exactly how to answer your question directly.....

AN is equal parts of all three. In 6-7 gallons I added about 1 mil each and a mil of hydroguard to get my water to 300 PPM. I have not used it in my larger tanks yet, but I am putting together a feed schedule for autos. For now though, I am going by the recipe on their calculator cut by 1/4

Over the next grow or two I am going to experiment with cutting down on grow and bloom during veg or flower. I put together a preliminary chart I will experiment with and I will post it if you want, but I can't guarantee it is the better than the company recommendation until I try it.

actually, I told you wrong, I looked it up and its 1 mil per gallon each. So I used 5ml of each, plus 5 mil hydroguard. 300 PPM on the money.

You need to start by doing actual research.... bud candy and big bud shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. Their purpose is on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Bud candy is what it is and most AN haters will say sugar water. Fact is it makes a small difference but not a huge one and it DOES alter taste in SOME cases.

As stated above. Research research research. You need to fundamentally understand why you would give your plant bud candy... ??? Because the bottle is cool???

There are MANY debates on what sugar does for plants. I myself believe it helps with trichome production as well as speeding up the ripening during flowering. Also the sugars and carbs in these products play a vital role in feeding the enzymes and friendly bacteria we add to our soil to aid in braking down things in the pots to be more readily available to our plants.

My opinion bud candy works for what it' supposed to. And yes it is mainly sugar and it' over priced. That' why most try to sub with molasses (sugar water) my personal 2 cents is buy a product called liquid W-8 from green planet. It' along the same lines as the other sugar products but a bit cheaper and the sugars are more available than straight molasses that can take a while to be available to your plants.

I use green planet right now too. I'm looking to try some others. I can't argue with results though. The GP Hydro Fuel 2 part stuff is really good, and stable. I am using both the liquid w8 and massive additives with it. The thing I like most about GP is that they stick up for legalization in the real world. They supported legal fees for medical legislation for example.

That being said, AN is cheaper for base nutes. I am using AN for my solo cup competition and if I get good results I may be switching to AN base nutes and GP additives.

We are on the same plan.. well we were.. I recently switched the the GBD / mephisto autoflower mix so i use plain water. I add recharge once weekly and nectar for the gods herculean harvest in flower but thats it. Pretty amazing results for a water only regiment and the ease of use is HUGE to me right now as far as less time maintaining and feeding daily.

Anyhow, I used the AN 2 part base nutes as well. Cheaper on my end for some reason, those along with MASSIVE (wonderful product that outperforms big bud for less $$$) liquid W8 and there product called DENSE.... and it grew some truly awesome plants.

Ide say you have a solid plan. You'll be impressed with the AN base nutes as well they are good but the GP addatives work better and are considerably cheaper.

I can send you a link to my old thread and feed schedule if you would like to see the feed and the results
