Feeding schedule

Allright, if you are going to grow in coco there are a couple big points you need to stick to for easy good results.

pH is very important. Keep all your feed mixes between 5.8-6.2
Never water only. Always water and nutrients
Water to runoff.

Make sure your pot has a way to drain out the bottom. Whenever you water & feed you need to have a decent amount of runoff. General rule is 20%, so if you pour in 1 liter you should aim for 200ml coming out of the bottom.

Mix according to the schedule and then I would dilute it down to keep the ppm where you want it. Always check pH and adjust if needed. Good luck.

Is it the bottom schedule on here? Do you have all the bottles or just some?

And yes i will be using the 700 scale
Most the time autos can handle up to about 80% of photo schedule. I would just take that schedule and reduce the feed amounts down slightly to start around 50-60% and go up from there.

Ok maybe I’m just over thinking everything because I’ve never grown medicinal plants before lol. One person says raise the ppm by 150-200 ppms per week something along those lines, Then another person says “ I feed high ppms in early veg and the seedling stage… Had someone that grows massive auto flowers tell me to unlearn that thing you read... its wrong.. A plant is a plant... Whether it does something automatically or not...
If you look at the grow a+b and the flower a+b they are always given in The same doses which makes me wonder why they have it split in so many bottles? Thats an awful lot of products!
I must’ve been a bee in my past life because what made me buy all them.?

Ok i could try that and see how the plants respond but it’s the layout that’s confusing me. The schedule they have posted is for photoperiods so how do i alter things around if that makes sense. When do i stop feeding flowering nutrients when to flush etc.? I need someone to write me out a feeding chart because i haven’t got a clue how to approach this. I think I’m the only person that has used these nutrients for autos lol i feel like a scientists mixing all these products together

Yeah

i know. I’m new to this hobby so i doubt I’ll be able to figure out how much to give them unless someone writes me out a feeding chart for autos

Veg nutes until 4-5 weeks old. Then flower nutes. No need to flush

Welcome to growing lots and lots of conflicting information. unless you have everything dialed lighting and VPD high EC can cause issues same with running lots of light they need the nutrients to be able to process the light it’s all a balancing act. I start at 300ppm increases 100ppm per when they need feed normally around 500-600ppm by end of week 2. Basically once first true leaves are 1” I start increasing nutes and light.

You are correct a plant is a plant the only difference between photo and auto is the light schedule but autos can be finicky to nutes and typically need less. The best info I learned for autos when starting out that often times less equals more

That is a very complex schedule just try to follow it the best you can we all make mistakes

Pick a well rounded week of veg/flowerwhere its getting all its nutes and use that! For autos i usually only use a couple different weeks on the feed chart. I use fox farm soil trio but for example i use week 3 for all my vegging starting at 25% working up to 50-60% when i flower i use week 7 on the chart/schedule all the way thru flower, no flushing. I picked those weeks because they have good ratios of all the nutes i use. (This is what works for me! Others may have differing opinions, but i like to keep it simple)I only use the main three fox farm nutrients (big bloom, grow big, tiger bloom)and a few supplements from other manufacturers like silica and cal-mag, i usually use whatever is cheapest with good reviews. I also use Blackstrap Molasses and beneficial bacteria and fungi/mycos in the form of GreatWhite. I use the additives at 25% thruout the grows, only use cal-mag if its necessary which is rare when i feed with molasses. Heres a pic of the chart i ise for example, similar to yours, its important to remember you dont really need every single peoduct the maker sells, but you will figure out what you need with experience.

If you want to grow in coco, get over to Cocoforcannabis.com and do some studying. Everything you need to know is there. You absolutely need to control both pH and ppm/EC, so get meters. Unless you are already stuck using ppm, just use EC. PPM readings are just calculations from EC measurements, they only offer confusion, not any advantage. Re. meter selection, you are better off spending once than replacing cheapies that screw up, and could take a grow with them. I use Apera for both pH and EC.

As to the nutes, that selection of bottles is marketing bumf more than substance, and the main purpose of it is to lighten your wallet. Once those nutes are done, move on to dry nutes, either MegaCrop two part, or Jack's, IMO. Choose one, stick to it, and leave the extra minor enhancements for when you get a bit more experience. Bottom line is that both these products will produce super results with zero add ons and they are dirt cheap compared to the fancier looking alternatives. You are better off starting simple and learning to read your plants than you are playing with complicated feed schedules that are not necessary.

All just my two cents of course, subject to ignoring at your pleasure. :pighug: :bighug: Good luck with it, I hope you grow some great bud.
