First grow. I was doing seedling surgery this morning trying to remove the shell from the top of my seedlings. From what I've read, this is referred to as helmet head, and it's because I messed up with germination (which I know for sure I messed up lol.) I got the shell off fine, but noticed there was just a little bit left keeping the cotyledon stuck together. In my attempt to softly remove the last bit of shell, one of the cotyldon fell off. So now the seedling has 1 cotyledon, and two tiny serrated leaves.

My question is, will it be fine? Or would it be a waste of my time to wait on it when it would ultimately die? I figure best case, this will reduce yield (which is fine) but if I should start the process of germinating a new seed, I'd rather start now.

That happens. It'll be fine. Let her grow.
I just finished a ghost toof that had no cots...did fine.
