I'm having a hell of a time getting my light to work as I want it to. I want it to dim OVER a certain temperature, and I just can't seem to get it to work in conjunction with my fan. I have the latest controller, Bluetooth hooked up, fan works great etc. Any advice? I feel like I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance

Can't help you with the Bluetooth setup (I'm waiting for their WiFi controller to hit Amazon) but going to the issue of dimming the light on the basis of temperature.

LED light fixtures give off very little heat; it's the driver that's the culprit. Any chance you can move the driver out of the tent?

I personally can't move the drivers. I have no safer place to secure them.

Well, that settles that, eh?

I tossed out the manual for the controller so I don't have the docs but maybe just walking through a basic troubleshooting sequence might help.

If you can't get it working now, good thing is that AC Infinity tech support will be open in 36 hours so you can call tech support (tech support while growing weed - times have changed!).

I've got a tent fan as an entry in the controller app UI and an inline fan on another. When I open the app, the two devices are listed.

If you lose connectivity with the controller, a red band appears across the top of the app. I'm not sure but I think have been times when I've been connected to the tent fan but not to the inline fan (or vice versa). I know that I've had to delete a connection and go to the tent and set up another controller instance for the device. Have you tried that?

At times, I've had to shut off Bluetooth in my iPhone and then start it again. That's worth a try.

Next issue would be to ensure that the plug from the light is connect properly. I'd remove the plug and then plug is back in firmly.

If that's OK, open the controller UI and make sure that you've set the triggers correctly. If everything's set up there, it might be that the next step is tech support.

When I set up the controllers for my fans, the whole process looked very straight forward so if it's not "problem exists between keyboard and chair" :) then it just might be an issue with the lead running from the light to the controller.

I tried to work through it. I stood there with the sensor in my hand and brought it into the heat. Unless there's something I'm missing, I think the problem is all the triggers are set to ramp UP at certain temps, which is great for the fans, but I want the opposite to happen with my light, get it to come down a bit at temp.

Not sure about the programing on the UIS but I know some fire alarms are infamous for hiding things in plain sight, but in the wrong place.
There might be an earlier section where you have to let it know what you want it to do on each output where the default is to increase, you might have to switch it to decrease. Maybe they have the manual online.

Try reading here

Might help :goodluck: Frogger:frog:
That's an excellent walk through for the fan setup, but it doesn't seem to translate to what I want for the light. Thank you though, I'll use it to troubleshoot more
