Indoor AB's latest grow log - Launch of the Badboy!

Hello El Andy.

Sucks you didn't end up with any lady MI5s or BBs. I was looking forward to those too. I say, just my opinion here, but if you have some RRF or AAs I would so germ a few up. I would want to have at least five or so with your setup instead of three for running everything like you said. But hey, you're this far with the four so if you ended up with four females for sure you could just focus on bossing them out and going for bigger yields. If you got an o each before maybe you could get two each this time. And that's eight oskie woskies. haha. Great harvest. I send female vibes your way and hope that it all works out for you sir. Sounds like the temps and air situation is in line for now. Not sure about the nute and organic questions, sorry.

I have friends that use the GO line with phenomenal results if I was to use liquid organic nutes I think that's what I would use.

sending you good karma brotha!!...i know what every you decide to do will be the right decision for you bro!!..:smokebuds:..:peace:

Also look at Iguana Juice Grow and Bloom, but I have seen great results with the GO line and it's probably a lot cheaper.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions, guys. Did some reading about Iguana Juice and people rave about it, but $35+ per liter is pretty steep! I think I may pick up some GO Biothrive since it's more in the $12 price range which is easier to swing right now. Looks like Muddy and some other growers here use it and have written up some feeding guidelines. At this point I've got nothing to lose but 20 or 30 bucks, and if it keeps me from chasing the pH dragon for the whole grow, it'll be worth it. :smoke: I've got plenty of other plants that I can feed the rest of the FF nutes to, so they won't be going to waste either.

Hey bro :smokebuds:

I've recently switched to the Grow More Sea Grow Line. I got the All-purpose 16-16-16 and the Bloom 4-26-26. It's not 100% organic, but from everything that I have heard and read - it's darn close. From what I understand, the fact that it contains a small amount of urea and has some chelated trace elements in it is what keeps it from being organic. I had been using the Fox Farm trio for every other grow, which also contained those things. I was looking for something that was more of an all-in-one so that I didn't have to add 15 things each time I wanted to do a nute batch. So far it's been extremely easy to use and has been producing some good results. 1 tsp / gallon is the recommended dose for every watering. 1 tsp usually brings the pH of my water down a couple of tenths of a point. I've been pH'ing all of my waterings to 6.5 growing in ProMix BX, amended with blood, bone, kelp meal and dolomite lime. My soil pH's have been holding stead at 6.5 after waterings and, if anything, track back up a tenth or so by the time they're ready for their next watering. But, so far, no real pH drift - especially when compared to what I was getting when using the Fox Farm Trio.

Like Mr. NS said, whatever you choose you're gonna rock out! :smokeit:

Thanks, KS! I have seen more people talking about Grow More lately, so I'll check it out. Just getting together another photo update now, so stay tuned. :howdy:

Back again with some more pics. Considering the rocky start, things are coming along pretty well right now. I did a mini flush on Friday for all pots but the AKR, and that combined with the additional dolomite lime has gotten the pH back in the ballpark. Runoff today was right at 6.2 for the two Snowryders, and around 5.9 for the PAK. The AKR is still in the mid 5 range, but I expect it to bump up quite a bit with the next watering. It's in a 3 gallon pot so it's taking a bit longer for the lime to take effect. Still there are no signs of spotting or serious deficiencies, and the combo of FFHF and FFOF is clearly still supplying nutrients to the plants. I really don't want to start feeding until the pH is in range for all plants, as that's when lockout seems to occur. As of now I'm still completely organic, with nothing but Big Bloom and Kangaroots added to the mix. One advantage of starting off with pH so low is that I've been able to give it my 7.5 tap water without having to adjust it down. I have to think that the myco herd is playing a big part in these plants still looking so green and lush. Still on the fence about going with the FF Trio or something else, but I need to decide soon.

The PAK has still been stubbornly resisting to show any pistils, but I think I'm finally seeing something good with the scope. Time will tell. It's about 6" tall and already has a really thick stem and strong branching structure. The biggest fan leaves are huge, so it should really take off once I start the veg nutes. No smell as of yet.

The AKR has developed a nice, skunky smell and she's just starting to pop out some pistils. She's about 6" tall and is so bushy that it's hard to see the calyxes. Hopefully once I get the pH swung back in line, I'll see a big growth spurt from this one.

SR1 and 2 both have a really interesting green banana smell. The one in the bigger pot is over 8" tall and seems to be stretching out well. The smaller one is more bushy and hasn't really done much vertical growth yet. Both have lots of pistils and I'm looking forward to some really frosty buds as expected from Stitch's strains.

Today I added one fem RRF to a paper towel, so it should be up and running for the next update. I plan on planting it straight into a 1.5 gallon pot, but this time I'm getting the pH squared away before planting. I thought about doing a couple more, but things are already spreading out in the tent and I don't want the plants to be crowded.

On to the pics, and as always, thanks for following along!
