Where you been growbee to miss Sir Andy's grow? Haha. He is the man! First member I met here at the wonderful AFN. he helped me out a lot and is just an all around nice dude.

Good to see you, TBM. No complaints at all with the Badboy so far. The plants that are finishing now went through some troubles early on, so it's hard to say just how much the new fixture has helped. The month-old RRF had a proper start so it'll give me a better idea of how much things improved. It's about 50% larger than the last one I grew under some cheap T5s, so I'm liking what I'm seeing. :howdy:

How close do you have it?
And how close are you going to try to bring it?

Once the plants are beyond seedling stage I have the light right on top of them. Around an inch or so, especially once they're in flower and I know they're not going to grow up into the lights if I leave them alone for a couple of days. My RRF got away from me during veg and went into the lights twice, and there was really very little damage. Just singed spots right where the vegetation was touching a bulb, but those leaves survived and the rest of the plant was no worse for wear.

Damn, wish I could run mine that close! In flower mine is between 10"-12" they penetrate pretty good too.

Hey Andy how is the heat with having that badboy so close? I am considering getting one for another tent setup for photos and breeding. My leds run about 90-100 degrees now and I can keep my tent between 73-86.

Are you doing ok with your temps at 86, DubV? I have seen a lot of different opinions and evidence on this.
