Indoor AB's latest grow log - Launch of the Badboy!

Quick update without many pics. Somebody needs to slap me in the head, because I let my young RRF grow up into the lights AGAIN! After the first dose of grow nutes she put on about 5" of height really quickly, and I didn't lower the pot quick enough. Singed off all the pistils at the top, but she's still growing like a champ. The big Snowryder is still a thing of beauty, and the PAK is fattening up well. Sadly, the AKR still is not completely well, and the buds are really compact but not getting much bigger.

The main reason for the update is that the small Snowryder was chopped last night. After 4 days the pot still hadn't dried out, so she wasn't drinking much and the top of the cola was looking a little bit crispy. I could have gone a few more days, but I had some free time and I really just wanted to get this little plant out of the way before the big dogs get harvested. I figure the dry weight will be around 15g or so.

Beautiful plants man! Those plants love to suck on the T5 tubes don't they? I had the same problem with my last grow of pineapples lol. Mind if i ask how you like that quantum badboy-any problems? Got my eye on the 16 tube model for my new setup but saw something about ballast failure is common with them? That was on grners. Keep up the good work man!

Thanks for the kind words and rep, everyone. Fullauto, I have zero complaints about the Badboy so far. It's worked flawlessly for the past few months with no buzzing or other annoyances. Hopefully they'll hold up well over the long term. These plants had a rough start and were much smaller than usual a couple of weeks in, and I'm convinced that a big part of their recovery has been the good light from the BB. :smoke:
