So I finally got rid of my house guests & had some time to properly tend to the plants late last night. They'd all gone at least 4 days without water, but they handled it fine. Sometimes I think it's a good thing to make those roots really work to find some moisture. Vertical growth has pretty much stopped and even the slower PAK is very close to being considered full flower.
Day 43
PAK - Still seeing more of the pink calyxes that prove to be very hard to capture with the camera. Over the weekend she really yellowed out quite a bit on the bottom, so I fed with a double shot of veg nutes in an attempt to get her color back before major flowering happens. It'll either work or it won't, but she's moving into flower regardless. Otherwise the plant looks fine and even though it's short, there are some nicely developing bud sites that should provide a good yield if I can keep it on track. I can't wait to find out what the smell will be, but for now it's still the same sweet, leafy scent that it's been from the start.
AKR - Now that the pH is back in range she's looking much better. Some of the damaged fan leaves from last week continue to dry out, but there are no signs of further spotting on the rest of the plant. The cola and side bud sites are really exploding now and she's starting to develop a skunky smell. Not a lot of trichome production yet, but hopefully things will start frosting up now that I've moved to the bloom nutes.
SR1 - Not much to say about this one except she's happy and she's pumping out the trichs from top to bottom. The main cola is really starting to come together well. The smell is developing into a strong skunky/fruity mix, and it's got some similarities to Stitch's other strains that I've grown. Without a doubt this is going to be some excellent, frosty bud.
SR2 - Maybe 10" tall if I'm being generous, this is by far the smallest plant I've grown. But it's really been the healthiest from day one, and now it's flowering fast. I can't imagine this one going much more than another 3 weeks before harvest at the rate she's going.
RRF (Day 9) - Somewhat neglected in the corner of the tent, this one is doing fine. It's the same size at day 9 as most of these other plants were at around day 15, so all systems are go at this point. I wish it was further along since the heat of summer is just around the corner, but it would have been stunted like the rest if I would have started it 6 weeks ago.
Thanks for stopping by! :smoke:
