Indoor A-Train's Going Back to Basics.......

Ah cool shit. I had an idea to make something similar, bubble bucket DWC splashing on a fabric pot sitting above the res to wick up nutes and maintain an even moisture throughout. Would allow roots to grow down and take a dip in the reservoir also. Goes to show they've already thought of everything, lol.

I use the wick system for watering mine, it really does free you up from the grow room. Moving from peat more to coco myself, that shit feels amazing, light and fluffy and still fairly cheap. Found some beats peat on eBay for $11/5kg brick with free shipping @ $75, 7 bricks for $77 shipped headed my way, just gonna use the excess for the vegetable garden.

I'm building 2 raised beds today at my place for a new addition to the veggie gardens I'm like you the min I broke that coco brick up and ran my fingers through it It feels wonderful light and fluffy just hope I can maintain it correctly

I'm also ordering a WiFi camera for the tent. I want to be able to see in there when the kids are home or when we have guest staying over without ever having to open the closet door and letting the smell or the massive purple light shine out. It's gonna be a sweet rig once I finish it.

Just got my NEW drying tent and filter in yesterday going to pick up some duct work today to get it operational as well

Just had a catch up on this thread. Great to see your grows in one journal. You already grew aweaome plants but i bet the autopots raise it another level. Just hope your tent can contain them. Good luck im subbed up dude
:slap:

You gotta tell me more about setting a camera up. I want to get one up so I can get a photo every hour of a whole grow for time lapse videos.

Building a raised bed myself this year, gonna try that square foot guardening stuff. Ripped apart an old trampoline and turning it into a fenced in garden area for my veggies. Gonna use coco as a base for my raised bed.

Let us know what camera you end up getting. I have a spare drop cam but don't want to expose my garden to their hosting servers even thought it's set to private. Needs to be CCTV like secure.

I'm doing the square foot deal too Atulip. I'm going with 3 beds they will be 8x4 with a divider in the middle so essentially it'll be six 4x4 beds. I'll rate different crops through each one and see how it goes. Hoping to have a spring summer and fall crop if planned right. I'm starting beets, radishes, broccoli, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and lettuce this week. I'll drop peppers later this month and oakra in the summer

@Hopper602 I'll let you know when I get the camera.ike you said security is my only concern so I'll look into how to protect it

Ide just hate to have a light malfunction and not know it til 3 days later

Thanks @sanguine I really don't know if it'll handle it or not lol. I watch people's growing style and everyone creates different stuctures on the plants . Mine tend to be shorter and fat. I may just add an additional fan to help combat bud rot and hopefully they don't outgrow the tent. I'm running 3 to start so hey. Go big or go home huh.. I'm looking into the smaller to mid sized strains as well. Mephisto fits the bill perfectly with things like sour blues, sour crack, and those sized I can run 4 and have the variety I like but not bust the seams
