Indoor A Sea of Green in Hydro

@420autoflower
Looks to me like you've pushed the envelope and raised the bar for the definition of what autos can do. Truly inspirational.
:cheers:
I'm growing similarly but on a much smaller scale, but I will try to apply some things I've learned from this thread. Thank you for sharing your grow!!

What lights did u use bro?
They are 150 watt Maxisun quantum boards.
Bought them on sale for $68 each. They work very well for the price. :biggrin:

Thank you @Humanrob :lol:
Just having fun over here trying different things. Nice to know that you might use some of the info in some of your own grows. I’ll keep the thread going and post more sea of green grows in the future.

What we have in common is that we both grow autos wall-to-wall in a tent, the commonalities stop right around there... :lol:

I'm relatively lazy and low-tech, I grow in augmented bag soil (FFOF and/or RO707), and I'm growing in 5 gallon fabric pots, six plants (all different strains) in a 2x4 tent. Last year I only did one indoor winter grow, so I did 'normal' leaf trimming and then did a two-stage harvest to properly cook the lower halves. I averaged around 2.25oz per plant, which luckily is all I need from a run (13+oz). Ya, we're in different leagues :lol:

This year I'm doing two runs, so I don't have time for a second harvest with each. I'm going to clean up the bottoms real well, and then try as much schwazzing as I can muster the courage for to maximize a one cut harvest. I'm curious to see how schwazzing impacts the final weight compared with a two-stage harvest. As long as I don't kill them and they finish, I'm sure it'll all work out in the end.

I think averaging 2 ounces per plant and 13 ounces out of a 4x2’ tent is great. That’s close to a pound out of only 8 square feet. :thumbsup:
IMHO… if you are growing dense crops heavy defoliation is a must. As long as your plants are healthy they’ll be able to handle all the leaf stripping. It will definitely save you from doing 2 different harvests and hopefully increase your overall yields in less time.
