Mephisto Genetics A Meph Head and his 5x5

thank you for the info I will definitely do this more often. I usually water a circle a few inches from the seedlings and taper off as I approach the stem. After the first seven days or do I start from outside in lighter as I near the center
I find with Autos that the ROOTS are the base for everything. Overwatered plants take longer and often are smaller that they could be. DWC Autos get huge and take a very long time to finish. My 1 gal Coco plants get nice sized, but finish faster. Rootbounding triggers flowering in Autos. So the faster your roots grow, the faster the plant grows and most likely will finish sooner than if you overwater.

Try watering the opposite way during the first 2 weeks,
your roots and plant will grow faster. If you water around the edges of the pot, your roots will grow faster. They have no reason to seek moisture when you water the base of the stem. When you have Big pot/Small seedling, you will have even better results if you water outside first. Many people on this site water like you are, but it is actually counterproductive, especially with large pots. Roots seek moisture. I often start my seeds in cups and bottom feed, to promote downward root growth. Good luck.

Excellent posts my man. I'd heed those words.

My grow medium is equal

My grow medium is very light this time around I made some adjustments and am running in equal parts soil, coco, and perlite I dont water much at a time I like to water every day with the results I had when I cut my waterings and started that I can imagine what I'd see using your watering method. This run is at day 12 so I lost some time but I am going to use this from now on.

I must say I have been truly inspired by all of you. I have learned a great deal about growing autoflowers since joining this site. I didn't linger long before I started chatting in some of your threads followed by started my own. The site leaders and its members make it a great place for learning and sharing grows. I have even introduced some products I discovered here to my local glass shop and I can now say smokin screws are available right down the road from me and the shop owner is sharing the freebies supplied and giving me any screws purchased at cost. Anyway great job AFN this is a great community you have made an autoflower grower out of me. I'll still run my pineapple chunk here n there I have an amazingly colorful pheno I've managed to hold onto for quite some time. Other than that a Meph Head for sure.

Here is an update on this runs seedlings. Gold glue, deez nuggs, and amnesia orange diesel are at 14 days the amnesia orange diesel was just topped. Moby dick, cdlc x sour stomper, and orange biscuits are at 12 days the moby dick was just topped. The rpk is a random strain I had laying around from oasis genetics she along with the avt special are 7 days today. The rpk is an ak critical mass hybrid and you can really see that in the fans. Both big seedlings for 7 days. Everyone is looking happy no chores to do until pre flower feedings so on cruise control watering a little every day 6.5-6.8
