A good Tea template

Awesome Eyes.. But man.. It's nigh on impossible to get your hands on some of those ammendments over here.. I'm kinda talking about for soils & teas really..

You guys in the states are really lucky to have such choice.. Namely 'Down To Earth' & 'Whitneys farms' gear that is just not available in UK..

We can get indo bat guanos, bone meal, rock dust, gypsum, blood meal, mycos, chickhen shit pellets etc.. & I got myself a wormery!!.. Just landed yesterday.. (Their still I bit unsettled I think)
But see things like Azomite.. Greensand.. They're just off the menu here.. Y'know what it is Eyes.. I need to PM you & pick your brains if you don't mind?

Hey Ya Kush bro, sure your always (or anyone for that matter too)welcome to PM me if you need anything man.A4 did a nice write up for a TLO /Organic type of European Styled Mix of amendments.its a nice list but like they always say and its true too.ask a grower(mainly organic growers)how to grow organic anywhere and youll always get a somewhat similar answer but at the same time the style and goals and how to get to and have certain level, tends to be different for everyone doing irganic.its (even here iacross the pond) always a blend of agents I think that always seems to works the best and what freakes me out i suppose on some level is they almost always tend to have mix of two components or more.sorta like here but more commonplace ,which is odd imo.LOL!but sure man PM me man,Ive talked to a lot of ppl from the Eu region to help them.I just hope i was helpful LMFAO!!

ask 10 ppl about how to grow orgnic/TLo and get 10 different answers LOL!! thats annoying LOL!

& the beauty of it!! :d5: Cheers bud.. I'll have a nosey over at A4's crib too.. :Sharing One:

I was about to type the exact same thing and you took the words right off my fingertips. That's the beauty of it! There is no "system" in place because where ever you live is what you can use. No one's soil is exactly the same and I suppose that is because no one's ecology is exactly the same where we live. Some people live near the ocean and they have an abundance of crustacean mixes and their soil under their feet reflect it. Some people live near the mountains and they have an abundance of guano and their soil under their feet reflect it. Use what you have locally and you can save money and energy tracking a bunch of stuff some guy in Cali says to use or some guy in New York may use.

What I am trying to say but don't do a good job of it is......the organic farmers in your area have been growing crops for hundreds of years without having to buy stuff off the internet. We can do the same, it is just going to take asking some questions, a little investigating, and a little footwork.

Like EoF said, I created an exact replica of my mix that can all be purchased in the UK. I have had several people tell me they couldn't get one thing or another and I finally called BS and started looking for myself. Within a couple of hours I have put together an exact list of items that could be bought in the UK from a couple of different businesses at almost the exact same costs I paid here. Which I must say is pretty cheap compared to chemical nutrients! The link to the thread is below. And if you want to see my recipe, it is in my thread in the organic section as well along with my soil test reports from the recipe. Like EoF, I am always around to answer questions if you want to shoot me a pm but I am not quite as funny as he is. :brow:

oh chit man its a replica of your recipe.daang bro even better.gives them an already work amount(s) to play with.you da man...Man LOL!:Sharing One:

yeah you cant beat it really.the beauty of using a cheap 10 dollar bag of MG organic for example(although Id use Dr Earth er something)and use literally a basic amendment that most already know like powdered molasses, alfalfa, bone meal(or similar flowering meal including kelp of some type),Lime ,perlite and you literally could use in two three weeks and brew teas each week prolly.Ive done a similar thing and its nice and pretty simple but yet keep you involved enough to learn the craft from one side n then the other cuz once you have a full grow its chocked full of the goodies it lacked from not actually cooking and growing the micro doodles LOL! Man Im baked :Sharing One:

As to the wormery Kush T, you can expect it to reasonably take a few months before your worms really take off. Just know that the faster they think they're home and well fed they'll start doubling(every 90 days if memory serves) and in no time you'll be trying to figure out what to do with all of them. That's where I'm at right now, I have so many that I can't get any castings out without taking 20 wormies with them. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure there are at least a few living in my cheese candy right now.

Too bad ya dont do any Brackish or fresh water fishing LOL!! too bad its so cold or you could slide 2/3 of em in your garden outside and a few in your awaiting soil and keep going.LOL!! thats awesome!!

Nice one bro.. Yeah the nice lady that sold me the wormery said it'll be at least a week or two before they settle into their new surroundings.. & yeah 3 months before I can start carting castings out..
That's a perfect time frame for me.. I've lots to learn in the soil building department here..

I'm killing it with my bio canna soil & liquids but I want to move away from bottled 'organic' & into true organics.. Y'know.. I want worms in my rootzone this time next year.. That'd be cool..

No worries man, I too am terrible at getting around to my subbed threads. I get on here and start looking at everyone's grows and forget the reason I came.

On the tea note, you can make a tea out of just about anything. Kelp, alfalfa, neem, EWC, compost, fish emulsion. Just about anything you would normally put in your soil, you can brew a tea with and use it is a "natural liquid fert" or you can use it as a foliar spray. If I am brewing a tea, I normally add a cup of whatever to 5 gallons of water and aerate it with a stone inside my grow room where the temp stays an even 75'ish. Once you have a good foam on top of the liquid then you know the microbes are working and it should smell like a yeast or kind of sweet.Use it pretty quick because you don't want the tea to go anaerobic on you. You will know if it does because it will smell like dead bodies. Throw it out if that happens.

I have a thread on here about making enzyme teas also, which is excellent for natural hormone boosters. They will help with development of branching and flowers tremendously. Create more off shoots and more flowers and you will notice a difference almost immediately.
