A couple of questions from a first time grower who recently planted.

I just planted three seeds in 3 gal smart/fabric pots with Happy Frog 70%/perlite 30%. I pH'd the water to 6.5, but I had to use both ph up and down. I put some transparent domes on top them of them and misted the domes a bit. 75 F - 83 F, 50% - 61% RH, 2x TS-1000 Mars Hydro lights.

It's been almost exactly 3 days since I planted, and only one has popped. It's still got the shell stuck on its head, so I might have to intervene in a bit. How long should I wait for the rest to sprout? I've heard that 3 - 7 days is possible. I may have buried them slightly too far, but I did use only one knuckle in length.

When I do water them next, which might be another 1.5 days, should I add Recharge? I know it's not a nutrient, so it can't cause burn, right?

And finally, does anyone have a good Mega Crop feeding schedule for soil?

I've heard good things about making a tube out of sandpaper and shaking the seed inside of said tube. Scuffs it up a bit and supposedly increases chances of sprouting. As for the rest, I'm on my first grow so I don't have any experience really. Good luck to ya.

Wow, that seems a little aggressive. I think I'll try giving it slightly more time, since it's barely over 3 days, before I start going at them like that.

I saw some of your posts and I enjoyed the advice you gave. I wanted to ask - are you using coco? I'm trying to modulate your formula for soil, and I think I'll start with 2g/gal to see how they like it at around week 2 - 3. If they respond positively, I'll bump it up to 4 g/gal eventually.

Anyone have any experience with how far the nutes in just Happy Frog will get you?

Oh, neat! In that case, let me ask, do you think I should be starting on Cal Mag soon or should I skip it because I went with all Happy Frog (except for perlite)?

i grow in a frog/peat/perlite mix & don't uzually add calmg til preflower, but that'z jus me ppp
