Indoor A blessing...or a disaster? All help and ideas welcome.

@GodAmJT there's the main problem, I was looking at the polyesterene stuff, you drill on a 45 degree angle into the crack from both sides making holes 6-12 inches apart. You then put those metal rods for a grease gun in the holes you drilled until it seeps out the crack. It will expand and fill it and then I add quikcrete or sealant over everything....

@GodAmJT there's French drains on the inside, but I'll check the outside gutters too and see if there's anything I can do from out there. Once I get all my fans and lights on and stuff it will help keep things level and dry down there mostly. Going to clean out the French drains on the basement

OK guys the official wall and door are up!!! Holy crap out feels out of this world and actually feels and looks like a room! I'll get some pictures up after the finishing touches. No making fun! I'm no handy man!!! Haha but it actually looks pretty good. Used a single piece of pressure treated for the base plate against the cement floor. Used a double top plate because it made measurements easier, but won't be load bearing. I used a single tapcon screw to hold it into the floor and 3 that screws to attach to the joist. The rest is all connected to itself for easy removal. I'm going to be adding some weather striping around the door to help seal it and some panda film over the door to stop light from possibly coming through. I can't wait to get pics up so it all makes more sense.... But room one is coming along great....

Nice 4' x 6' hinged door, got done little light leaks need fixing but nothing major by any means. Need to clean up the back shelves too... Moving along....

Hell yeah!!!! Definitely starting to take shape!!!! When are you hoping to have it completed??
Beans will be planted tomorrow, both auto and photo. Photos will get a thirty day veg before flip... Second light will go in when it arrives.
I basically need to immediately get the rest of the basement sealed up from the cold and no light leaks outside or between rooms. Also need to fix the dryer vent so it blows outside again instead of in the basement.
Second I need to clean up everything in the basement and get my next area for veg and autos up, it's going to be a more open room setting as there's no reason to build walls in the veg/auto area... There's going to be light everywhere....36 square feet of solid light coverage in the bloom room pictured above, than another 40 square for veg and autos.... Both rooms will feed off each other's environment and I will have the light schedules overlapping to keep environments stable.
I need to build my "floor pond/run off area in the bloom room using the wood and pond liner like I was talking above....I plan to be finished and fully operational within 30 days.
I've also decided to stay here another year when the lease comes around and the landlord is cool with that too so there may be more done slowly over time. I'd like to insulate and try to fix some of the foundation leaks if possible too. All as money permits. But at the same time of ask runs smooth I won't be doing much. There's some more fans to go in and pots and stuff and finalizations but I think the biggest part of things is done enough for me to get growing.
I can't wait to see this basement loaded. I have enough lights and space that I don't have to pack anything anymore.... Good air movement and preventative measures for bugs and molds will be easy down here too

So you've basically given me the motivation to get my room finished by the end of this weekend!! I've built the walls and will put them in-place either today or tomorrow.. Then, I just need to build a door and run the rest of my ventilation.. I painted the walls white yesterday, and have done as much cleaning as I can.. I fully agree w/ the "open air" design because I think that alone w/ help w/ environmental controls such as temperature.. I think w/ that much air volume vs. a tent, it'll be easier to keep the temps regulated.. I'm going to be using 3 carbon filters w/ associated fans (4" and 6"), having the fan for the lights on the timer, but the others on speed controllers so that it can retain heat in the winter and vent it off in the summer.. The only thing I'm not going to be concerned with is the RH once the Summer rolls around..

Not sure where you're at or how popular Craigslist is near you, but I find a TON of cheap or free building materials on there.. I've seen people giving away 80lbs bags of concrete or Portland cement, studs, hardware, sheet metal, etc... If you don't check there, it may not be a bad idea to look from time to time to see if there's anything you can get for the low on there!!
