Indoor A.B.S. Diesel Ryder Test

@HushSeeds Hey man! Thanks for dropping by!
Those are very reasonable assumptions and the thought of competition did cross my mind, but they are so small I just can't see that being the case. One of the three with the issue is in its own pot, and then in one of the double plant pots it is the larger one with the problem. I haven't fed anything yet, there's just the handful of one shot... it's puzzling! :paleo:
Whatever the problem was, all three showed balls yesterday and are in the trash so I'm not too worried. :)

Day 32

I'm down to 4 pots with one plant each under the t5, they seem a bit happier in general than the first round, all are a bit consistently larger at this stage. This is day 14 for them.

First round is really starting to get going, #4 is at 10 inches at both the main and big secondary stem with the rest not far below. The other three seem to be a different pheno, looks more sativa in structure than 4 does so far...

Couldn't bring myself to spray pesticides on even this early of flowers, so I'm doing thrips patrols often and actually haven't killed but 7 or 8 total since I first saw one. Got some ladybugs on the way to help out a bit.

I just wanted to say I'm quite happy with these seeds!
With the exception of the 3 recent males looking weird, there have been no real problems. Hermies can pop up anywhere and so far I have not seen any suspect flowers on the big girls.
100 percent germination within 48 hours! :)

I have been very busy but will try to check in at least every other day if not daily.

Thanks to all who visit! :cheersmate:

There's something I don't like on this pic.

Plant shows great health in her leaves, maybe a tit bit too richly fed, but nothing seriously wrong looking.

Issue is the pistils. > They are wrinkly and short.

It is time to give less water and to feed a bit less, and less often.

Do you have a way to know how wet it is down below? Like a poke hole for your finger or something?

Normally when pistils wrinkle like that, it is a sign that down below it's staying too moist for too long times.

Size of buds is not going to be much then.

I was noticing the same but thought it might be pheno related, I'll keep an eye on it, I am waiting until the top 2 to 3 inches is dry and the pot is light...

The other three definitely look more typical and all look similar to this:

It is indeed feno related as well. This feno is sensitive for root rot.

(The parental lineage of these seeds have always been grown on very well draining soil)

But should not show out if you manage to keep it dry enough from under.

What happened is that bits of roots down below have got root rot.

A remedy would be to water a little more frequently but in much less amounts.

Keeping only the upper layer moist, and letting them empty the lower root zone.

The soil I use is around 80 percent peat and 20 percent perlite, it's barely even real soil and drains like crazy. :smoking:
