9 days old plants yellowing please HELP!

they are thirsty! feed them plain water.:2cents: get the bigger pot's wet, the tap root is at or near the bottom of big pot.:2cents: keep it simple:peace:

@Medicine Man I lowered lights to 24 Inch, thanks for that suggestion, I will also dilute the solution what do you recon is best at this stage? I was following that guy C.E.'s guide, according to that I should be ok. Further reading your post I noticed another dumb thing I might have done. you feed once / 3 days, I feeded them 3 times / day about 5 min. maybe I overfed them?

@low_and_slow, thanks for the method to test coco PH I'll do that see what I find. I also agree I have some PH fluctuations din't know it was from the pebbles, I will not use them anymore next time however this time is too late as transplanting would stress AF too much, and all that. Ill try to find a fix around it. Your second test idea is also nice in case nobody comes with a direct solution. balast is modern digital one from GIB. Since 2 of you guys suggested lights are too far from the p;lants I will give that a try first, and I will flush them with some properly ph's water in case I overfed them with my 3 feedings / day... see how this produces any results, then I'll try the other method if not.

Finally I have something to do other than refres the screen here heheh,

@astronomy420 I don't think they could be thirsty as I watered them 3 times/ day?

I'll say this about light height...when I run a plant that I know for a fact is a dwarf or tends to be squat (Mossy's PAK is notoriously short in my experience) I always just let 'em stretch. Unless the plant has heavy sativa leanings or you know for a fact it will get huge (there are a couple strains I would never do this with) I would leave the light at like 24-30 inches, especially a 600w HPS over seedlings. You can end up with airy buds or lower yields in an over-stretched plant, but for the veg and preflower stages of most dwarf autoflowers , I would rather they get a little leggy at the beginning and then just push 'em hard with nutes and keep the light right on the canopy once they're mature.

and yeah, 3 times a day is too much right now, especially in larger pots. Just watch the top of the coco, when it looks like it's starting to get dry and loose, water through to runoff, then wait. I germ in party cups and only water once every other day.

Well my first grow ended up in disaster because they outgrew the tent so I am verry afraid of any stretching. Especially since the white widow is one of the seeds left from the previous grow. I got the dual spectrum bulb and added the cfl's specially to prevent that. Also I have all the holes in the pots and everything ready for LST (I learned too late about it last time). Stretching is forbiden in my tent :)

This less is more concept is hard to grasp I donno why I overfed tthem so much I didn't get that from any guide, I guess i'm just an impatient guy and wanned to give them poor things some more food. If I had any kids I bet they would be obese lol

So far is too early to tell if any improovements but I can definetly tell since this morning the situation is not geting any worse, I think that's good.

@ the squid, were you once called squidherb or something similar on this forum? i may be wrong because its been a while since i signed onto this site prior to my old account being deleted.

@dildano, theyre not doomed bro, theyre definitely a little pissed, but im sure theyll bounce back. but i think Squids right about the PH meter, this year prior to the start my new plants i hadnt calibrated my PH meter, and it was saying my tap water had shifted to about 6.5 from 8.5 and i was like sweeeeeeet!!! but that was obviously horribly wrong lol you might be able to transplant them to another medium if you cant be asked to continue with the coco because im sure the roots havent really grown thattttt big.

My answer is the same I answered the squid, I live in a small town in eastern europe, you can't find anything useful here, I have to order everything online, it takes at least 2 weeks to have anything to transplant in with the ordering and shipping etc. But as a last resort if things keep degenerating I will get some regular soil that's a good idea, but I won' find any proper nutrients here. So far seems the flushing and lowering the lights has an effect, still to early to see improvements, but it's not getting any worse either. When the yellowing appeared it was sudden and quick now it seems to have at least slowed if not stop I hope.

YEAHHHH i knew it lol!!! i mean id remember something like that because my favorite animal is the blue ringed octopus, obviously because its bad ass lol

sorry about stealing your thread dildano :D

good recovery vibes your way!

No problem, theres nothing to do now but wait, feel free to hijack the thread :D I can definitely see growth, they are not stunned.. Yellowing is there but exactly as it was in the morning 14 hours ago no new yellowing since then, I start to feel more optimistic..
