This one seems a bit sensitive to water, and gets droopy.
Otherwise, her watering / feeding exactly the same as the others.
I'm wondering if this suggests parentage from Satori, Beyond the Brain,
Ganesha or Krystalica, because on the Mandala Outdoor Guide
these strains are all best in drier climates. Hard to say.

My plan is that these 5 will all be transplanted to the final outdoor homes tomorrow.
There should be a little rain between then and now, which is perfect ground prep.

Love and hugs,
MJS

These five will be transplanted outdoors to their final homes later today.
There was a nice bit of rain last night, a bit cloudy now, but will clear up later.
The droopy one is still a bit like that, and I'm a bit worried how s/he'll do outside.
But, out they shall go. And the purple boy Early Top Tao will be removed.

Day 20 - Mandala Safari Mix

Today is the big day, when they all get planted outside into their final homes.
I have a lot of photos for everyone!!

The transplant was not long before dusk.
Earlier in the afternoon, I gave all five a spray down with some neem oil.
It's their second neem spray, and it helps outside to keep the bugs off.
Though, bugs were not the biggest problem last season, so I'm not too worried.

Here are the five young plants ready to go:

They're just 20 days old today, a day short of three weeks.
They only stand about 10-14cm = 4"-5.5" tall.
Their 5th sets of leaves are slowly coming out, mainly 7-pointer or more.
As we will see below, their roots are very strong, and they need to get out of these 1L pots!

I put them all into a couple of big bags, 2 in one bag, 3 in the other, plus small trowel, bags closed up top.
Then walked in to the site. There are two areas where I have the plants. Let's call them West Wing and East Wing.

West Wing:

Above and below - the pre-dug holes, from a couple of weeks ago.
Well hidden, aren't they?

The two Mandala Safaris that will go out to the West Wing.

Nice root ball, huh? Only 20 weeks old.

Speaking of root balls....... when I got this far, I realized I had forgotten my mycorrhizal!
So, decided to put them all in place, both West and East Wing, but not fill in the soil.
Then go and get the myco, and bring along 3.5 L of Sensi Bloom mixed up to 1/4 strength.
The soil was drier than I thought. The last 24hrs of rain was very little in the end.

Going to follow this grow
I really like their Satori, 23-28% THC... wow..
Fruitylicious is another, and probably the leading strain I would get from them...

East Wing

On the other side. This is where the male Early Top Tao "purple boy" is located.
He needs to give up his dug hole for one of the Mandala Safaris.
Dug him out, carried him in a pot, and replanted some distance away.
Didn't have the heart to cull him. Yet. He's kind of cute, with that purp. Hehe.

These are the three young plants to go on the East Wing.

Above, the Early Top Tao lady already on the East Wing.
Below, the Early Top Tao purple boy. He got moved to another location.

Here are the root balls on the three for this side. The one in the middle is already pot-bound, curling around. Really strong roots on that one!

So, then I went back to get the bag of mycorhhizal, and mix up 3.5 L of 1/4 strength CaliMagic and Sensi Bloom Coco A+B.

West Wing

So, returning with the myco and Sensi Bloom feed.
Just did about 2.5g of myco per pot, sprinkling around the edge of the root ball in the hole.

Then did the earth fill in around.
Hard to leave a really natural effect, cos the potting soil is so much darker than the native soil.

But here are the three plants on the West Wing, two Mandala Safari, one Early Top Tao.

The Top Tao looks rather, um, er, small, compared to her two new friends.
She's much, much taller, and older, but ... that's about it.

East Wing

The finally back to the East Wing, to do the same.
Here's the general terrain, where you can see the good soil put in earlier now dug out for the transplant.
Between the Safari on the far left and the one in the middle of the photo, is the tall lanky lady Early Top Tao.

Then the four plants here. Three new Mandala Safaris, and the earlier Early Top Tao.

On the left is the droopy one, I'm a bit worried about. Put some little stones around here to keep the lower leaves off the ground.
The one on the right is the chunkiest looking plant, short and squat.

The other Safari and the Early Top Tao girl.

Gave them all a nice feed, 0.5L each of 1/4 strength CaliMagic and AN Sensi Bloom Coco A+B.
Then, back home.

Should be sunny weather for the next couple of days.
Hope these Mandala Safaris all make a big stretch in the next couple of weeks.
They're only 10cm+ tall, but I've grown photos like this many times in the past (indoors).
I just give them a couple of weeks, and then straight into flowering.
They don't get huge, but even a short but strong and healthy plant can pull an oz or more.

Love and hugs,
MJS

Thanks for your comments and stopping by, @WalterW.
These are Mandala Safari Mix, which the breeders describe as "experimental crosses".
So, maybe some have some Satori in them, or Beyond the Brain (a Satori cross).
Not many people grow Mandala here.
Can you share your experience, or give a grow journal link?
I'd love to learn from your grow experiences.
