just take the door off.double or triple layer some of that black/white stuff,a velcro/sticky back zipper
Drop a black out curtain over the opening. Then vent through fabric

Black out cloth is white and heavy. You need min 50sq in intake. So 12"*6" would be fine for some breathing room. Bigger for passive vents is better.I thought if this too. This will be a flower room, I'm thinking fans will blow any cloth all over the place. Plus, I'd kinda like to keep better reflection.
I thought about buying a cheap door but the dimensions aren't normal so, will be pricey. I'll replace later.

Six panel door, that’s solid wood bro, slice one-half inch from bottom and you’ll see increase air-flow into closet ..... slice 3/4 or 1 inch and it will increase proportionally..... low down near floor is BEST air you can bring in, coolest air ......
You don’t need to be a carpenter to setup straight line to cut ..... just use sharp finish blade and have some sandpaper and maybe touch up paint ....
Tent inside closet will not solve problem - you still need input air, which you could simply leave door open or remove door and do the cloth / Velcro thing!
I think I'm leaning towards modifying the door, because it's already there.
I like the cloth idea and I looked into what, I think, you're talking about. I'm seeing myself trying to get plants in and out, losing my shit and tearing it down. I tend to do things like that.
12" x 6"...ok so, I could cut a hole in the door for passive intake and exhaust into tent.
Ok, I know many people would rather have air coming in, through the bottom. What if I am exhausting at the bottom, to feed the 8" port in the tent. My choices are 6" up top or 8" on bottom. I have an 8" fan so, I'm liking the latter. Plus, winter is coming in New England and I dont need any more cool air. I have a ceramic heater, heating the whole room, as it is, and winters not even here yet! That being said, wouldn't it make more sense to shave the top of the door?
I really appreciate all your help peeps!
Intake should be at bottom - outflow should be at top - law of physics- heat rises ...... as for New England cold air, when u suck air thru bottom of door you’ll be sucking coldest air out of room - which will be replaced by air coming in from another room or opening ..... you want the coldest air inflow as you are trying to maintain X degrees in room and mixing in hot air from top of the door and exhausting down will work against itself ....
Fan is too large for area, by the way - 4” inline fan more than enough for closet size ...... how much / what kinda light inside closet?
Okay, I'm starting to like this idea. I can't find anyone else using these for a grow room/closet, which makes me nervous. Will one side reflect light?https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/312038501998
