Extraction 6 Ton Dabpress

Excuse my ignorance here, but don't buds need to be thoroughly dried before being pressed, particularly if using a vaporizer? Or is this for oral/food consumption, in which case should't the buds be decarboxylated first?

If for ingestion, I decarb after pressing. If decarbed prior to pressing, yield will be reduced.
I like to get bud moisture content down to 10-15% with a 7-10 day dry in my environment and use pre-cut 35lb Ultra parchment paper and place on frozen steel plate to collect. Just what works for me.

OK, so you do dry it thoroughly; and decarb after pressing, if needed.

That sounds dangerously low and the buds would be super crispy being that dry.
From what I have read, pressing dry buds will yeild less than pressing buds dried to 60 to 65% humidity.

Unless you are talking about freeze drying your material?

Don't confuse moisture content in bud with relative humidity. If your bud contained 60-65% moisture, you'd be hard pressed to light it, much less smoke it. I can't imagine the mess you'd make pressing a bud that wet.
