New Grower 4th grow…experimenting with node amounts and topping/not topping

I think I’m going to have to look into a germinating heated module thingy of some sort since I’m trying to live life in one tent. Seems easier than catering to seedlings and I have no fear of transplanting anything because I’ve been doing it for years around the house. It’s either that or a dome but the thingy seems interesting.

At a point in conversation with a friend at work this morning he said…“whats worse than cutting some up then realizing you’re outta papers?”
To which I replied…”paying 130$ for that half ounce to begin with”

Hey I’ll ask here first even though there’s less traffic…The 4x4 light sits squarely in the middle of the 4x8 tent and I’m looking to optimize residual light for my veggies growing on the sides while also helping the buds if possible now that they’re further from the walls. Has anyone used an extra reflective material to cover the walls inside the tent with positive results?

While I’m babbling….I just got some 1 and 2 gallon bags and some cheap humidity domes because it finally hit me how many freakin seeds I have, of which like 40 are freebies. So I need to get to planting some samples! My question is can I safely assume that if I treat them exactly the same as if they’re in a 3 gal can I expect the 1gals to be somewhat proportionately smaller in size? I know peeps grow ginormous plants in small containers but I assume that’s on purpose. I think I‘m gonna start with 2 in 1 gal due to current setup. They will also be an experiment in slightly residual light to see if I can get a few joints on the side. Pun intended. If I’m digging the sizes I’ll be encouraged to eventually do more of a perpetual grow and plant one every few weeks or so instead of all bigger plants. Maybe like 2 of my faves in 3 gal in the middle surrounded by various 1 and 2 gals?

Day 51

Very impressed so far by the amount of possible bud coming from just a couple/few nodes, having only to occasionally defol leaves that grow to the inside of the plants. Its so cool to watch the flowers transform from all white pistils to a nice underlining of green sugar leaves. Nature kicks ass.

Day 55

Jammy Dodgers started off so strong that, even though I knew better, I couldn’t help but think the other 3 were slacking. Happily they’ve all proven me wrong and are really starting to stack some fat buds. 3BOG while always healthy just kinda looked frail and thin and that’s why she was selected to just have two nodes. She has responded well with a lot of very promising bud sites. All the different designs were aimed to get the would-be-larf max light as possible with minimal defol and it seems to have worked.

Utilized my old drum set to raise my veggies up, residual light working ok we already got a strawberry! Unfortunately she took it upon herself to water the tomatoes the other day so the plants are cussing us out, but we all know they’ll be fine lol.

Thank you and yesssirr I will bro, and due to the nature of these experiments with just a couple/few nodes, I’ll probably be weighing them for a matter of record. I haven’t bothered to weigh my last couple grows because how many ounces/grams doesn’t matter to me, I just go by how many 1/4 lb bags I can stuff in my fridge. Its completely stuffed right now so I’m swapping mine with the wife’s ginormous cooler because she has much less wine than I have bud haha.
