Amazing isn't it mate! I think the myth about HST could be fucked off for good, we need people to experiment and document it like yourself to show the way forward on the autoflower movement!
And thanks the CFLs are pretty powerful, it works out at 370w per square foot in my tent lol mabey I should start implementing co2 hahaha

Got to say i totally agree with ur comment about hst ,in fact i think there are a lot of auto myths about to be busted wide open going by what ive seen on here already, a week and a half ago my plants were basically fckd ,people were saying havent a clue whats going on there ,never seen anything like it ,well they had a real rough time but after sorting the three main problems u mention in the beginning of the thread.....overwatering ,nuteburn and in my case extreme heat stress compounded by the other 2 problems they have made a remarkable turn around .they now now have a main stalk about 4 cm wide and its been tied down branches broken and even topped ..it might have set it back a bit but i now have 22 main branches and its throwing pistils and fresh greenery and its back bigger stronger faster ....i cant wait ....think from now on im going to abuse them all....then again its been at a cost my entire growroom has been reworked ,4 mm cool intake ,6 mm exhaust thru cooltube 600 watt HPS and i couldnt be happier ,considering its a first time grow its a constant education and experiment [emoji3][emoji2][emoji38][emoji111],im no botanist but im sure the rock solid genetics now llay abit part

Yeah I was shit scared of taking the scissors to her,I even seemed advice from the master @Hansbricks about defoliation, but my curiosity an restlessness got the better of me an I turned into Edward scissors hands haha! But some of these breeders genetics are STRONG and I believe these are the ones we should bust the myths wide open. I mean the breeders say about 2-3 ounce of 1 plant so if you can get that through your methods you have already proved its do able!
I do think its best to only do HST when the plant has a decent root system so when it's feed it can put all the nutes to work for the heal quickly and back to the grow!!
And I'm glad your seeing progression and also getting your environment right I believe that is just as important.
I apologise I haven't seen your setup yet but I will do shortly after this so expect a hello and I'll tag along.

Think ur right about the root system and genetics, mine are superskunk#1 and came from the sensi seed bank

Well my GSC is into flowering mode finally, I'm not risking taking her out her tent as shell probably lose a branch or two lol so here are a couple in tent shots. took another 20 or so leaves last night. We are at day 39!!!!

And here are some shots after defoliation as of today which would be day 40 in veg...
