I don't use it for investment purposes. I just buy what I need when it's time to pay for seeds.

I don't have anything against crypto per se and I understand doing that, but why not simply buy a Visa/MC gift card (like Vanilla) that functions as a credit/debit card and remove virtually all issues? Not to mention, you could actually use it for other things like gas, purchases at local hydro store, or even online at Amazon.

I guess you missed the point. It’s the people processing the card payments that are refusing to work with seed banks... doesn’t matter what card you use if the processor refuses to handle payments for you.

Once you buy the coin and send it off for beans its no longer your worry about what bitcoin is worth.

Want 50 worth of seeds you buy 55 to cover any transaction fees send it to mephisto you may have 2 bucks worth of coin.

If I did that then I would be supporting it I already have to support enough stuff I don't believe in that's the point for me plus I live in Canada doesn't get easier then a etranfer

Oh I didn't lose sight of the reason the MG site is down or miss the point, but you seemed to have missed mine . I was merely responding to the bit of back of forth on bitcoin/crypto being a viable option. A few posters don't want to touch it, others laud it, even going so far as saying they aren't in it for any investment just buying seeds. My example and point was that using disposable credit/debit gift cards has all of the positives of bitcoin without the negatives.

I remember having an issue with the pre pay card. I don't think it was available to use to buy from overseas. Something about terrorist stuff.

You know I see alot of these transfer apps like cash app. I havent used it myself but younger folks seem to like it.
