Mephisto Genetics 3BOG - Grow Dots/Recharge/Tap Water

Love the watermelon pheno of 3BOG, it doesn't get enough love.

Interested in these grow dots for small pot grows, still not seeing an exact ratio that is giving people consistent results yet though.

It was very surprising once it started to come through the OG funk smell. I do love it though, very refreshing. One of my favorite smelling plants by far.

And yeah the grow dots sound very appealing for me as a lazy grower. Even at the 25g/gal I'm still seeing good results despite the burns. I have another plant at 20g/gallon and it's doing wonderful. I just started a larger run with 3 gallon pots at 20g dots per gallon but I'm going to be using a compost tea with it and only use recharge sparingly if at all. Seems like somewhere around 20g will work but we'll see with this larger run I'm doing. Think the main problems people are having come from dots doseage and water source issues. Have some mephisto's wedding and samsquanch og along with a few others so we shall see!

You use recharge the whole way through. I remember hearing on the dude grows show that they recommend stopping recharge around week 5 of flower (little different for autos). But they were saying recharge creates extra nitrogen, which of course we don't want in the later stages of flower.

I herd him say something like that as well like the last 3 weeks no need for it. so im cutting it out now when Im guessing its close to 3 weeks before its done.

Day 69:

The 3BOG got the chop today. Was seeing about 20% amber so I was time to call it. The plant has a distinct watermelon smell covered by an OG stank. Just wonderful! Found myself constantly taking whiffs while trimming, definitely a unique and remarkable smell. Hefty little plant for it only being in a 1 gallon. Seems despite the problems the grow dots performed well. Looking like it'll be bigger than my strawberry nuggets in a 3 gallon. Excited to get it all dried and start the cure! Will post up a final weight here once it's dry and will do a final smoke report after the cure. Thank you for anyone who followed along!

Trimmed up the 3 Bears OG last night. Had a wonderful watermelon smell that has start to come up front with the OG stank in the background. My first watermelon smelling strain and I really enjoy the smell! Trimming was fairly easy, only took about 30 mins w/ the bowl trimmer. Ended up with 63g or 2-1/4oz! Very happy with that number, all aspects given it exceeded what I was expecting. Just grow dots, water and recharge! Okay I fib a little, it did get a little bit of bud candy for the terps but that's just cause I had extra. Overall extremely easy grow, 25g of dots appeared to be a tad too much but it performed great. Thank you for anyone who followed along with me!

I did 3bog a couple cycles ago, it was nice but it looks like yours turned out even better! I just love that watermelon smell, first and only plant I have ever grown with that aroma.
It was also one of the best plants I have had for Rosin press. It yielded 20-25% of some the the tastiest oil I have ever had.

And yeah I gotta agree, haven't ever had that watermelon smell before. Like straight watermelon it's perfect.
I'll have to try to press some in my NS mini! Especially if it yeilds like that. I already really enjoy the high. Very uplifting like they describe.

Well I am glad yall love 3bog. But I myself don't like watermelon flavor so I will be avoiding that strain. Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it. I also dislike lemon flavored weed. I used to dislike purple weed til I had some Purple Urkle and then I changed my mind about purple weed.
