Grow Mediums 3 Bubba Kush Autos, 1 Early Miss Auto in 15L Autopots. 4th run with Autopots but still very new

Day 64.
Raised the lights 2” as the tops of the taller girls are getting dry. Was such an easy go up until a couple weeks ago and there is definitely deficiencies now. The only real healthy girl is nameless and tips is fairly happy. I’ve flushed three of the 5 and not really too much change I can see. Maybe they need more food but it’s hard to tell. My next res I may up the feed. I’m still way under the chart as right now it says 7-8 ml per gallon and I’m only at 9.5 per 4 gallons. Seeing the tip burn early on I held it back to these low numbers as less is more sometimes. Maybe not this time?? It’s too early for them to be finishing so maybe I’m just under feeding. This hobby is fun and stressful at the same time lol.

Day 65, so I think maybe it is phosphorus or potassium deficiencis using @Waira guide in the infirmary. I have upped the nutes slightly as the res was empty. Roughly the .5ml cal mag upped to 10 and the rest went from 9.5 to 12 ml. Bloom, micro, velokelp, natures candy and astroflower. Also raised the light a bit more. All the girls are putting on weight still except for EM and I’m not sure what her deal is. As mentioned, last time I grew her she was absolutely swollen and harvested 15 oz! Oh well I guess she’s just doing her thing. I may flush her out as I did the others but I’ll see what this res does. Temps still 23-24 lights on and 20 lights off. RH 30 pretty consistent. Below is what I think is phosphorus and or potassium deficiency??

Day 66. Some more fox tailing and they are all still hitting the buffet. Should see what this res does tomorrow? It’s almost empty already so they are drinking. EM still not doing much. Day 34 ish was when I started seeing the preflowers so if you base a lose 8 week flower schedule on that it puts it his “end” date at 90 days. I don’t see these going that long. I already see some cloudy on the very tops but those were the ones possibly too close to their sun. There is a lot of clear on almost all the others though. Time will tell.

67:
Filled a new res 12 ml of all except 8.5 ml cal mag. 37 drops PH up to get to 5.8 PH. Temps same RH 30 stable. Moved the light up again as o think that was a big factor. Need to measure the distance to the tops. Quick pics through the glasses

Day 70, thinking about the end of the line here in the next few weeks. In previous grows I have ran 10 days of PHd water through the res but should I even PH the water??? I know there is much debate but if anyone has any thoughts with autopots it would be appreciated. @St. Tom @Olderfart what do you guys do? Do you actually flush the pots first and then just water in the res? Is the res water Ph’d? I think taco will be the first to start her end of life transition. I will be cutting out cal mag from now on

I generally just feed mine really low EC feed right to the end but I have tried multiple ways including none pH water in the Res for the last 7 days but regarding cleansing or flushing I never noticed anything any different smoke wise so it's all down to user choice .also I never reuse my media but if you were going to I'd maybe just use pH water

I read an article that a company did to test flush bro science. They did blind taste tests and also lab samples for %'s. Basically, flushing doesn't matter and its bro science. There was a slight improvement with people who stopped feeding like 4 days before cut or something, but the two week flush vs the no flush was basically the same.

Now, a lot of people will swear by it. And one experiment doesn't mean anything without others to back up it, so I'm not saying its totally worthless, but from a quick research project viewpoint, it seems to have minimal impact.

Thanks for the 2 cents! I’ve always done a bit of a flush but it was always with Phd water. I think I will try the non phd straight RO water for as long as it takes the girls to get some amber. They are all cloudy with a bit of clear now so we shall see. I Also don’t reuse the coco

Thanks man! I know this is the big debate and there is lots of people that have points for either side of the argument. Appreciate your feedback!
