Welcome to the forum [emoji106] I suspect you're going to ditch that multi plant deep water culture system after about 1 or 2 grows. most guys do. The big problem is they tend to get the roots intertwined if one plant gets sick all your plants get sick.

I used to grow in deep water culture I don't know 5, 6 years ago doing photos and I could give you some help if you need.

Looking at your setup I think your light is going to be the main thing that will stop you from getting the big plants. It looks like it's probably around 300 actual watts. I had some like that and they could grow one plant with dense buds about 16 in down and about 18 in square as far as final footprint in flower.

I have lights that will illuminate a 3 by 3 foot area and penetrate 3ft down so I tend to grow bushes that are around 3 feet in diameter. With XL strains that means 14 to 18 ounces per plant, at least in Coco.

When I was doing deep water culture I would have a 5 gallon bucket with a net pot that sat down on top full of clay Pebbles. What I liked about that is when it came time to change my res all I had to do is mix up a brand new 5 gallon bucket pick the old plant up and set it down on the new bucket and I was ready to go. I would just run my Airline down through the net pot say Mary the plants Roots were growing down through and then the whole thing aerator and everything would just pick up and move.

Theres another post just check my profile same grow 1 plant showing pistils this normal ..3 different phenos...the others are doing great outdoors unfortunately i wont be posting those

I will be getting another light same small one haha im saving up for perfect sun led the goliath version .. the thc bomb outdoors doing great pretty big ..cant post those.. there quite a walk away cause i live in a close neighbourhood so there up in a plot made in the mountain post in another week

Smallest one is budding the other 2 are showing sexes aka pistil gonna switch to bloom nutes maybe after i see budding on the bigger plants

As for my other grow doing pretty great
One plant perished due rabbits or birds hah i rolled a fifty five gal up a very big hill the other day legs are still kinda spent mixed in bloom nutes and big bloom im running fox farms ...the plants are almost double the size due to actual sunlight haha they showing pistils so decided to run those early wish me luck

.I really wish i could post those but i have suspicions due to law

Looks like those two larger plants might need a little bit of thinning out, got some real massive leaves must be covering up a couple Bud sites I would imagine.

I think you're trying one of the hardest growing style starting out with your multi plant deep water culture system, but you're doing really good [emoji106]

What I'm growing​

Would you recommend pinching off some fan leaves for the bigger plants or would that put too much stress on the plant

I do that with photoperiods but with autos i wasnt so sure. Maybe let me know have you had success with it ...
