Yeah man. I’m know I’m maybe playing with fire. I’m a little gun shy as I scorched a couple plants a while back top dressing too much too early. But these are almost day 30, so will probably need to happen sometime real soon. I might do a 1/4 amount and repeat after a week.

I’m trying to keep somewhat close to recommended VPD. Those charts you subtract a couple degrees for leaf temp vs ambient temp, right?

I use a VPD calculator on my phone. It has a tab for leaf temp input, but I just use the default.

Day 31. Northern Cheese Haze finally showed sex last night. Everything is starting to stretch so all good so far.

I did do a 1/2 tsp top dress of BuildASoil Craft Blend this morning. I’ll probably follow that up with another one next week. I did also pick up a bag of BuildASoil Build-a-flower which is compost, ewc, some PK sources and other goodies. I’ll add some of that next week, as well.

As soon as the stretch stops I will swap out the HLG65 4000k for the HLG100 3000k.

I do expect to run out of room soon. I have have a back up tent for drying I will set up and put one of them plants under the HLG65 in that.

Day 36. Start of week 6. All 3 have seen some intense vertical growth the past week and start of pistil development. It’s already starting to reek when I open the tent, I think it’s the Magic Cookies. When you touch a leaf or stem it leaves a fragrant sweet dankness.

Also I am going to set up my backup tent this weekend as there is little room left in the 2x2.

Those plants look so happy ! What one you planning to put in the extra tent? Also are you planning to train em anymore or just going to let them ride? I was afraid of running into height issues on my first grow so I trained them basically until they stopped stretching, I think I may have overdone it though.

Hey thanks! I’m going keep the Sour Stomper and Magic Cookies together in the main tent since they are about the same height, with the Northern Cheeze Haze in the 2nd tent. But at some point I’ll just do what I make fit. :smoking:

I will keep training them as long as they will bend, but they are already starting to get woodier stems so I’ll probably be a little more gentle and switch focus on some light defoliation to get some more lights to the lower bud sites.

Day 39. I set up my backup tent which is a small 1.5x1.5 I use for drying. I put the HLG65 4000k in there and it will be Northern Cheese Haze’s new home. I have done a small plant start to finish under the HLG65 and it wasn’t quite a dense, but the quality was definitely there.

Sour Stomper and Magic Cookies are now under the HLG100 3000k and have a little more room to stretch out.

Also, I top dressed each plant with another 1/2 tsp of Craft Blend and top dressed several handfuls of Build-a-Flower and gave the plants a nice watering with Mycrobe Complete, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, and added my first dose of Mammoth P.
