Hey man I was looking back. What kind of water are you using... I'm 100% positive the coco and my res ph was the reason for failure on my autopot grow. I'll be trying again after my current grow and running pro mix and a little added perlite with pebbles
I was using tap water and after the AN hit the res my ph was 6.2 steady... but needed to be much lower for the coco and I just couldn't maintain it
Just plain old tap water bro.my first grow was in coco in an airpot with AN sensi coco i only ever checked my ph once because everyone seems to do it and it was 7.0 so i emailed AN and they said that ph perfect helps your girls uptake between 4 and 8 ph so i never checked my ph again ever and my widow grew great without any problems apart from a little calmag def which was fixed with calmag.i really think if you try to ph adjust the ph perfect nutes it actually causes problems.i will not be using coco again it just seems to cause more problems(slow start,calmag def) than soil mixes.i really can not praise plagron lightmix enough the 3 girls i started in it grew fantastic but 2 were pulled because my widow got so big and the third is this grow.
here is the email i received
When using the coco coir for a growing medium you want to make sure
that you are using the Coco Coir base nutrient ( Sensi Grow and bloom A
and B Coco Formula pH Perfect. I would also recommend that you check
your ppm or EC in your water if it is over 100 ppm it may be a good idea
to use reverse osmosis water. Recommended for cuttings or seedlings
feeding schedule would be :
* 1 ml per liter Base nutrient
* 1 ml per liter B-52
* 1 ml per liter Voodoo Juice
When
using the RO water with the nutrients ( pH Perfect) and the additives
it should level off to approx.. 5.5 to 5.9, and yes that would be good
for either Soil application, Coco or hydroponics. The additives in the
base nutrients will help the plants uptake spectrum work between 4.0 and
8.0
