Glad you managed to find some informative stuff while looking in on this madness! LOL! We like to keep it chill up in here. Good conversation, good laughs, and grow good buds. Ya know? 2nd basement, you say? Must be nice... oh the grows space I would have! But seriously, if you enjoy a good sati dom bud, you will love TD. Since I've grown it twice, back to back, it will be a while before I grow it again, but I will grow it again! I'm curious about that Magnum, too, so I'll let you know when I drop a bean in the soil, and if u do the same, we can watch 'me do what they do!

Just got done with a busy day, which I finished up by chopping my girl down, trimming her up, and throwing the buds in two brown paper bags. Not really 100% on how to do this paper bag dry, so if there are any pros out there, feel free to chime in! For now, stay cool n be eazy.

Yo what up bandit brother....just thought id chime in on your paper bag dry as you may remember I just finished one and had the best dry/cure ive EVER had! First off I did a few tests along the way. The 1st and most noticeable was this:
I dried in 2 bags...1 bag I rolled the top all the way down getting out a lot of the air..the 2nd I left a lot of air and only rolled it dowm a bit at the top. When all was said amd done the bag with less air took like 2 days longer to dry but was by faar sticky'er and tasted much nicer! ...other then that all i can say is treat it like a jar cure...ya gotta burb them every soo often and give em a gentle shake! It def takes a lil longer then both hanging or screen dry'n as I have done both those methods as well in the past with very mixed results! Anyway..I'm def a paper bag convert and will dry like this from now on! ..oh also the thicker the paper bag the better i found as well. Hope this helps bro..if ya gotts any ?'s ya know where to find me amd my hoes! Lol

Thank you for that bit of information, bro! I been rolling the bag top shut, but I left a lot of air in there, so I will keep it in mind to remove most air when I try the bag method again, which will be on my next harvest. I split the buds into 2 bags, so there's only one layer of buds. I thought more layers would enhance the chance of mold, so I played it safe. The rh has been extremely low, and the kids have been sick so they hijacked the humidifier, so I've been worried about the buds drying too fast again. I was actually considering throwing the buds into jars today to slow things down a bit. What do you think?

Na..ur good bro! The rh is gonna be higher in the bag soo prob not an issue and I dont imagine it will dry too quickly! Stay with the bag until its dry and I'm sure I dont need to define dry for ya.lol of u jar it too early ur gonnna have that crappy chloro taste... have faith bro amd hold tight!

Thats a cool tip bro im gonna try it out on my next harvest. Normally i just roll the top and leave a big space for air. But i only dry for 1 day per 10% rh, leaves it sorta moist and the rest is burped out and then i throwin a couple boveda packs.

What i dont like is that the sugar leaves dry up and look "ugly" from being smashed in the bags. So i want to hang the buds individually and wrap the paper bag around it so that the leaves fall and wrap themselves around the bud nicely.

I know common sense says more air the higher the rh but my practical test just turned out better in the bag with less air! ...it was only a 2 bag 1 time test mind you but I stand by my results and like I said plan to dry this way from now on as the difference was significant.

To make sure I didn't have buds with flat sides, I ripped a big piece off an extra paper bag, crumbled it up,un crumpled it, but didn't totally flatten it out, then put it on the bottom of the bag. This made for a very uneven surface, and when I put the buds in the bag, air could circulate under them, and they didn't end up having flat sides.

Ill jump on the band wagon.

I like the bag methid too. Especially after I over dryed the moby dick to shit. Anyway, I went 3 days in paper over night on my drying hang screen then to jars and burbed til I felt they were done. Gave a nice little roll around every so often in the jars. Came out nice.
