Indoor 2nd Thoughts; Round 2 With THINK DIFFERENT

If all conditions are the same or better, then perhaps it's genetics? Also you're sure it's a slower growing less smelly plant and it's not just your memory playing tricks on you?...

Or wait.. could it be the season! I've noticed my plants grow better in certain times of the year than others, even with a completely sealed grow room. It's kinda like they 'know' when its 'really' autumn and winter...

TGB...

My advice :)....

Treat it like golf and play her as she lies.

By that I mean, don't expect scenarios, realities and timing to replicate the previous grow
simply because the genetics are "the same"...just complete the task in front of you.

The biggest mistake you can make is feeling like you know what to expect. :)

Just put the first TD grow out of your mind and react to what presents itself.
Ultimately all you can do is keep it healthy while it goes through it's progression.

My 2 cents.

Hmmmm, the season... never thought of that! Yet another possibility. Yeah, I'm sure she is smaller and less funky than my previous plant, as I took ridiculously extensive notes, and several pics, so I am able to compare what each looks like at any given point. The slow growth isn't too much of an issue, but the fact that she really isn't smelling is a bit more of a concern

Could just be a slower pheno. I know you have TD experience, but maybe your last crop just didn't display these traits. I wouldnt be to worried yet though. I've had plants that looked puny, and lacked oder right up to near the end, and then BAM! "HOW DOYALIKEMENOWFUCKER!!!" they would scream.

She looks beautiful man. Don't fear. You can't compare your second child's development to your firsts. If I did that, my son would have been on the short bus years ago.

:crying: I hope this bitch starts screaming soon! LMFAO! I should have an updated pic later tonight when I get home

My First run of TD had little Odour until quite late and where quite compact. Ended up with a good yield of tasty buzzy flowers. They went to day 95ish Hang in there.

Hey, Brother :) Check this thread out- https://www.autoflower.org/f52/think-different-takin-its-time-10135.html
TaNg mentions a "100 day pheno"... I'd put that on the short list of reasons :)
As for the smell, idunno... I DO know that my house smells of ganja continually, so I only smell a strain if I'm hugging the plant! lolol
You are rocking that SCROG, my Brother, so I vote- blame the DNA!!!:Sharing One:

Jayar (where the hell he at?) also mentioned a 100 day phen, but I didn't consider that because this one started flowering much earlier than the 100 day that he grew. Still, that is a possibility. The lack of smell bothers me most, though. Thanks for complementing my scrog work, Wax. I think that gonna become my style of choice, as far as training goes. LOVING your avi!!

Trap, you always got some good shit to say, bro! You're like a modern day version of one of those dudes that sit atop mountains, waiting for people who come seeking wisdom and advice. You're right. I need to stop acting like I know exactly what to expect, because each plant, just like children, will not grow at the exact same rate, or start smelling st the exact same time. I guess I reverted back to a first time, noob grower for a minute...

Not newb at all....human nature.

Logic (The philosophy) defines it as a "false equivalency" :)
Which assumes, first and foremost, that there is an equivalency being made to start with. :)
Very common, because us humans like patterns.

Something I always think of to help establish this concept....

- A coin is flipped 99 times and 99 times it comes up heads...

Q: What is the probability that the 100th toss will be heads?

A: 50/50...it's always 50/50. What comes before or after a unique event
has no bearing on that event. Each grow is a unique event. :)

Stop playin', and write a book, Trap! Hell, at least write an advice column for the Denver Post, or something!! LOL!

Ahh shucks....

Please understand, I'm not trying to be patronizing...just giving my take on it, that's all.

Now an Advice Column for "The Cannabist"...that would be cool. But that would be like Ray Charles
guiding an Everest ascent.

I don't see it as patronizing at all, Trap. Just good advice from a good dude.
