The pollinating I've done so far was with a paint brush on two or three buds about the size of a U.S. Nickle. I did buds that were on a side branch. I get about 25 to 30 seeds per bud, 60 seeds per plant give or take and plenty of good but to smoke still on the plant. Last two times I did this the plant was harvested all but the buds that has seeds. I let them stay until the seed pods were splitting open. Got some nice fat seeds that have germ rate 8/10 so far. The rest are in cold storage

Looking great bro! I would concur with swamp and UnholyFire.. If you hit the whole plant you will have like zero smokeable bud... I've over pollinated a few times.... When i made the Buckeye Smash F2s I did 3-5 branches/satellite colas with 5 plants. I ended up with 10s of 1000s of seeds in total. Hundreds a piece... So just be aware when painting like Bob Ross... You WILL end up with Thousands of Little Happy Trees in the making!!

In ur little case maybe 20-30 per branch ...i couldn't really answer for fact tho ....
I got 400 summn of my little girls m.....
Like 250 cream cheese dragons ...
180 summn from the josies ...and around 200 from that little DFG ...SHE went all seed bro and there wasn't but like 6 grams of bud ....i didn't think it would be that bad the male was with them dropping for about 4 days ....opps guess I'll get a bunch of practice lol

i think ill be looking into branch pollinating -- hopefully i can pull it off - i just hope i can get some viable goodies!

i would love to have some smokeable buds my friend -- so branch pollinating will be the option im going with. cant wait for this project to kick off.

10 of 1000s of seeds would be wayyy to much in my case brother -- that might even fill up my case alone.
you need to let those beans go in the wild and watch em grow. (just toss em like bread crumbs on a trail walk lol)

This is what i read so it's what i did "Cannabis seeds usually take a month or so to fully mature and be ready to harvest so we need to know how long a particular strain lives and pollinate it at least a month before the end of the plants life cycle-AFN"

And this is why I did the branch pollination-
"From Muddy- When harvest time comes I usually cut the mature buds off the plants but leave the seeded branches for another 2 weeks or so until those branches have pretty much started to die off and the seed pods are splitting open. Nice big, mature seeds then-AFN"

So this PRAH i have in this pic is at day 37 and i would pollinate it on day 40 Being that I would be planning a harvest around 80 days. Also I re-applied one time after a couple of days and that was it. Just tapped the brush over one and the other I dabbed the brush on the bud. Could not tell any difference as both buds had almost the same amount of seed. Waited about a hour, gave a mist with water and returned to the tent. Just remember bro I'm working with about 5% knowledge and 95% luck most of the time So do your research.

thank you for the kind words! -- she still (barely) alive and kicking so no trimmed pics at the moment.
tried uploading some pics for a quick photo update but im getting that red exclamation point again. i guess ill try another time :thumbs:

Just now mm.i let the girls get pregnant when sexing basically ...
In 4 weeks pistols on the node spacing were really protruding the sack ...the sac will go yellow like the leaves at weeks 6-7 and then some were ready but I just plucked a few to get the look ....i think I scarafised about 10 seeds total ...but it will give u and idea ...i even had some fall of on top of the medium ...those I put with a special pack ...
Basically I had 50-55 days or seed on plant ....so I hope they crack female heavy lol
