Indoor 2nd grow - Syrup

dunno really... seems like maybe it could gona lil longer with nutes... but wait n see what it does... been a while since i ran hydro... :smoke:

hows everything else?

everything else is doing just fine, drinking 2.5 gals of water with nutes every 5 days... there are still nutes in the syrup bucket, but the last time i fed it was 2 weeks ago. ppm at about 800.

i wasn't planning on adding anymore nutes from here on out but i did want it to eat up the last feeding. next week i'll do a 3 day flush, that's if the roots will absorb the new water i put in the bucket...

we shall see. thanks for your help jm!!

Here's some pictures as promised, i snapped em this morning after the light came on

Here is the main kola

a little closer...still white hairs makes it look under developed to me

whole plant side view...

and here's a bird's eye view. I circled the branches in red. 1 main and 2 small side branches. There were 2 tiny lower branches but cut them off yesterday to check trichs...i'll be test smoking those tiny nugs on my lunch break for potency. Trichs under a scope appear mostly cloudy and i even saw 1 amber...but then i look around the bud some more and i see white trichs with no head developed yet...so confusing to me

The fan leaves are all still a healthy green with no indication that it is ready to be chopped. I'd like to chop her down at the end of next week, especially if she's not drinking anymore water but i just can't tell guys. what do you think?

I really enjoy your threads :pop: Great job she looks OUTSTANDING

heeeyoo! thanks a lot L3LVR, really appreciate the kind words.

I'm having a hard time with this slow grower though, hoping someone can eyeball her and tell me if i should chop her next week or let her go a few more weeks.

this is week 10 for the syrup.

I see very few brown pistols so id guess there 2-3 weeks away

theres good 2 methods when flushing in hydro remember that theres no soil in media less hydro so it will flush's within 7 days as your not uptaking fert in the soil (compared to 10-14 days in dirt) another method borrowed from the cannabis grow bible is to feed with a 1/4 strength grow solution for the last 7-10 days as having some N nutrient present helps with the process of removing the P (that causes the poor smoke) also a side effect is the yield is up to boot and it flush's quicker than plain water

Think of it like the starvation mode in humans the plant trys to hold onto all its nutrient as it thinks it starving to death

Thanks Agito....do you know why she's not drinking any water though? I gave her 2.5 gallons of RO water with nutes (800 ppm) and she's barely drank any of it.

That was my initial problem and question. Before she was drinking all the water in about 6 days. It's been 2 weeks since the last fill up and the bucket is still almost full.

I'd just like to know why she's stop absorbing water...and if she's stopped drinking, how will she flush properly.

ph is good, 5.6-5.8...water temps vary between 63-75... Humidity has been a stable 35% for weeks now and the tent temps stay between 65-70 (it's been a bit chilly here)

Agito, there are no orange/brown hairs at all on her yet. I will wait her out at least 2 more weeks. that will put her at 12 weeks.

if your humdity is that low the stomata might be closed to conserve moisture as the the air is to dry slowin growth which will slow uptake try get some bowels of water in there and get it to 40%-50% rh . are your ppms staying as they are or going up ur down

thanks agito! i'll put bowls in there tonight to get that humidity up to 40% if i can..

ppms are going down but not by much. last i checked ppm about 3 days ago it was at 740...over 2 weeks ago now it was 800 ppm which makes me think it's just stopped absorbing food and water.

if ppms are going down they eating more than drinking so that should be upped a tiny bit so the ppms stay level this may help if they were not eating the ppms would rise as evaporation would raise them
